Absolutely amazing to hear all the screw ups with the badges. Fan club members not getting their laynard. Non-fan club members getting laynards. One guy got a letter and a badge with nothing to hold it on with, plus no topper. GenCon has a WHOLE lot of fixing to do.

 

I hope mine comes soon... even if I have to use my own shoe laces to hold it on... I want it .

With these friends and family passes I got, all of us can go in the first day an hour early. Their opening up the convention hall an hour early each day for Hyperspace members so I figure we can all go in early that first day and try to get a jump on things.

 

Yep! I got 4 friends and family passes (although I didnt ask for any), the topper, the 4 day badge with Mr. Vader himself on there, the lanyard, and something else, I cannot remember off the top of my head, though. And the new Star Wars insider was awesome, too. And on the back, that huge display of all the new figures.... well, I HOPE they arent releasing ALL of those on April 2nd. Man, will I be spending some money, if they do.

 

You automatically receive the friends and family passes if your a Hyperspace member. Yeah, that was a great layout. The "Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar" figure was wild looking.

 

Three weeks from tommorow we depart. We're in the short rows now.

 

I am getting very excited about the trip. We are going to have an inebriated, outer space, Star Wars adventure to be remembered!

Sometime during the day Wednesday. Planning on leaving Tuesday night and driving overnight. We cant check in till 4, so we're gonna take our time getting there.

 

Sigh, just turned in my vacation slip for our C3 trip. Getting soooooo close now.

 

FYI guys, not sure if this has been posted yet, but the guy who runs leiasmetalbikini.com is doing a massive photo shoot, Friday Afternoon, of all the Bikini Leias at C:III. I (along with several friends) will be one of the "Bikini Leias." Just thought you'd want to know.

Also, my hubby and I will be staying at the Embassy Suites (With Dave and Rebecca Anderson), which I think you guys are too, so I hope we can all party at some point! We are arriving on Wednesday and leaving Monday. See you there...BTW, sorry about the self imposed hiatus, I have been infernally busy and gone ALL THE TIME!!! Entropy, thanks for the wake up call.

I missed seeing you guys this year, can't wait to see you all at C:III.
