Celebration IV and the EU

In order to preclude any "I heard such-and-such at CIV" threads, here's one central clearinghouse for Lit-related information that comes out of CIV.

Comics, novels, games, toys, TV shows, anything EU related is fair game. Hear a juicy nugget of information at the Dark Horse booth? Post it here. Got to ask [author] [EU-related question] about [book]? Post their answer here. Listen in on a discussion panel? Post the information (or, even better, transcripts) here.



Except of course for anything spoilerish about Sacrifice, which goes in the sticky thread.

You all realize if there is anything truly spoiler worthy...it's probably gonna be broadcast on G4 live from there.

I have mixed feelings about Star Wars Convention Craziness.

 

I am presuming we should get information on:

- Death Star novel.
- Mindor
- Coruscant Nights
- Force Unleashed

I don't know what they'll give away in terms of Legacy (of the Force) but... probably not much.

 

I thinking more along the lines of anything that might come out in author discussions or Q&A's about Sacrifice.

 

And action figures.

True, but the image of unmasked Qymaan-Jai is relevant here because it's our first image of a Kaleesh's face.

I stopped by the Dark Horse booth this evening at C4. I said hello to Randy Stradley to tell him how incredible I think the Legacy series is.

Perhaps he's mentioned this before (I don't check the DH boards, really), but he commented to me that although people are excited about the Krayt's Identity reveal in #15, "it's the revelation at the end of #19 that's really going to blow you away."


p.s. I plan to attend the Dark Horse panel on Saturday evening. Presumably some Legacy-related news there as well.

 

It's been said for a while now that the "who" of Krayt isn't as important as the "why" hasn't it? Perhaps we get the "why" in #19?

 

The only thing I'm interested in learning about from CIV insofar as the LOTF era goes is the title of the last book.

According to Rebelscum, it has been revealed at C4 that Hasbro is making Legacy figures! No pics, though, so they are still awhile off.

 

Awesome. Legacy can always use more exposure.

Also, we might be getting Boba Fett from Jawas of Doom.

 

I definitely want to see more KOTOR and Legacy figs. Maybe a few NJO figs too. I'm really liking that Hasbro is giving us so many EU figures this year.

I not only want to see KOTOR game figs but comic figs. We need a Zayne Carrick and Lucien Dray etc. Plus they should do an exclusive Revan and Exile figure pack with male AND female bodies and interchangable heads and various lightsaber configurations. What say you???
