We now have our 501 Bash tickets purchased... "Thanks for the heads up Mika"!!

 

Anaheim is nice. I have been there several times via work. Though I was mostly in the hotel/traveling business people section. If they have it at the same place I am thinking....not much around there but hotels, a couple restaurants and the convention center, but close to the amusement parks.

There is a great restaurant that serves the biggest and best hash browns I have ever tasted though....take Jammies there

 

My vacation time at work was just approved today

Times a ticking, got to get the coordinates locked into tux's nava computer for the trip out and back with maybe a kessel run included..

Looks like they'll be showing the ROTS 3D at Celebration (they had AOTC 3D at Celebration Europe). I wish they would just give these a wide/nationwide release...it must be some kind of turf battle with 20th Century Fox.

 

I saw that! This announcement is pushing me more into the "I'm going" camp.

 

I didn't think Appo and I would be going. Things became tight but we prevailed and .... We're going, we're going!! I am feeling so much better now!! WOOT!

The Star Wars movies are scheduled in the evenings as follows, on the Digital Stage (Ballroom 300) at Star Wars Celebration:

• Thursday, April 16th: Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (3D) and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (3D).
• Friday, April 17th: Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (World premiere in 3d) and Star Wars: A New Hope (2D).
• Saturday, April 18th: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (2D) and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (2D).

I'm glad they are showing AOTC in 3D, more excited about that one then Sith in 3D really.

I think Sith in 3D will be pretty awesome...the space battle to start and the Mustafar battle to finish. Visually should be pretty stunning.

You know, I hadn't really thought about it yet (haven't starting packing like Zannah has already) but, now that you mention it why of course, heck I might even wear a tie (something star warsish).

 

Just made it home and my brain is still on West Coast time and the in-laws are coming in for the weekend so I don't have time for a lengthy post. The word for this last weekend was "underwhelming", if you couldn't make it you didn't miss much. Will post more thoughts when there's more time.
