What a waste of my time. Fine, whatever, done.

So, also a question I guess more for TLI. How much are we taking the descriptions of these pokemon into account? Like, alakazam thinks faster than a supercomputer. Do we think about that when judging?

Yeah I was wondering that too. Plus some other more specific questions about moves. Some Pokes have the normal HM/TM moves and I get that but what is the deal with pre-evolution, tutor and egg moves? Do the evolved forms get all this junk too or what? Because some guys are junk without those extra moves. I think that is how we did it last time but I can't be sure. Then we have the abilities, what's the deal with them? Is that as big a role as I feel it is, and do they get the 'Dreamworld' stuff some of them have from the new Black/White game? I figure not since we aren't including that generations Pokemon but I wanted to be sure what to expect.

Also with the size advantage some of these guys have... how does something like Pikachu expect to damage Wailord being 1/100th the size? In reality he could roll over and pancake Pika, type advantage or not.

...Somehow, I never even saw the last four posts of the last page today. Weird. Anyways:

Game versions. The strength of their particular Pokemon in-game itself is without much meaning: though a trainer who only uses very low-level Pokemon isn't likely to be as good as those who've handled higher level Pokemon.

    We do, yes.

No egg or tutor moves, I'd say, and no Dreamworld. Abilities are present and taken into account. And I believe evolutions keep any moves their pre-evolved forms learn, yes? If so, then yeah, they'd have access to the moves of their previous forms.

Regardless of size and weight, damage and type advantages/disadvantages still apply. And speed. Pika just keeps from getting too close and shoots off lightning. Fried whale.

Are we using pokemon abilities? And also can your own pokemon attack the other if we trump for certain combination. I know in arena your own pokemon could attack each other.

Abilities are present and taken into account.

And if trumped pokemon are fighting each other you'd be an idiot to trump them...

Yes, trumping Zangoose and Seviper would probably be a bad idea.

Also what is the maximum of moves a Pokemon can use. Do we have to select their 4, or do they have all of them?

Holy crap, picks! Not used to that. Didn't even see the penguin on the list, and I have a feeling Wobbuffet is going to be argued...well we will just see when we get there.

    And now we wait... again.

Well I think that particular strategy with the self-attack, you'd probably need some really smart pkmn or a trainer who knows what they're doing. I don't think the average pokemon is gonna think of that, and maybe not the average trainer.

Yeah I saw EMP-man. Thought about it, but I guess it didn't matter now. But I dun care I have Mr. Supercomputaaaaah!

Are pokemon with teleport and stuff that isn't usable in the game but would be obviously helpful in battle allowed to use those moves in the battle scenarios?

Well I guess I have to pick a trainer that knows my set of pokemon like the back of his hand... Hmm... that shouldn't be too hard [face_peace]
