Saga Centerpoint: Our New Hope "Anakin Solo, Han, Leia, Luke, and OCs" Updated 4/23/2010

Hey Everybody. Sorry about this taking so long. I am currantly on a month long computer probation. I convinced my parents to let me post this though since I've been good so far.

So here is the next update it's kind of short but yeah it's all I have. See you all on thew twenty seventh.

 

The officer watched Anakin carefully as the ship shuddered as it touched down in the hanger. It was plain to see the kid was scared but also he seemed somewhat intrigued by the ship. But what was he afraid of though? It was plain to see that the ship wasn?t the problem and Anakin seemed pretty fine with the Imperials he?d met. So what was his problem?

The senator tried to suppress shivered as they passed through the hanger bay doors, but the thought of the treatment that awaited her was overwhelming. Her shoulders shook at the thought of what might befall her inside the confinements of this ship. Unfortunately her fear didn?t go unnoticed. A derisive laugh escaped the lips of one of the troopers. He slowly got to his feet. ?You scared Your Highness?? He said bowing as low as his armor could go. ?Yeah!? Another stormtrooper said as he too stood. ?We assure you that we will be as gentle as possible as we sort through the contents of your pretty little head.? The rebel sat there trying to still his quaking heart. Please, just leave her alone!
He begged within the safety of his own mind. But without the courage he so dearly lacked, his pleas went unheard.

Anakin could feel the screams of all the victims reverberated inside his mind. He could feel the fear rising from each individual holding cell as the Imperial inquisition walked past. And the relief as they walked by, but it was a tainted feeling. Because each prisoner knew it would be their turn eventually. Then he felt something different. A kid, just like him. Fear rippled off of him in waves. Because the guards had stopped at his cell and with them was the inquisitor. Tears started to stream down Anakin?s face.

The Imperial officer slowly turned to walk down the exit ramp. ?Wait here Anakin. I need to take care of some things and then I?ll come back for you.? The poor kid glanced over and nodded ever so slightly. ?I?ll be fine Mister. Could I walk around a little while I wait?? The officer smiled. ?I?m sorry son, I can?t let you do that, but I promise to give you a tour when I get back. Ok?? Anakin slowly slumped in his seat. He?d been sitting there for what felt like forever. His small frame was bursting with the energy only found in a child. ?Look kid.? The officer knelt down in front of Anakin. ?I will come back for you. You can count on it.? He winked and turned to leave when he heard a gasp. When he looked over Anakin had his knees to his chest and was rocking back and forth. Tears streamed down his face.

Well, I'm back! Kind of dissappointing that I didn't get any comments but that's what I get for not sending out Pms.

Here's the next post and I appologize if my writing is a little rusty.

 

?Hey, buddy. It?s ok.? The officer sat down next to him. Anakin turned and buried his face into the officer?s chest. Sobs shook his small body. ?Stop them! They?re hurting him!? The officer looked around confused. ?Hurting who? What?s wrong, Anakin?? The boy! I can feel him, inside me. He?s screaming!? Anakin let out a small whimper. ?Who is!?? The officer took Anakin by the shoulders. ?Anakin! Who?s screaming?? Anakin?s eyes became glassy. ?She?s scared! He?s scared. They?re all scared! Who will be next?? His head started to loll from side to side. ?Who will be next?? His eyes rolled back into his head and he collapsed. ?Anakin, Anakin!? The officer gently lifted him onto his shoulder and toted him down the ramp.

Vader slowly paced the deck. They had the princess and the ship would soon arrive at the Deathstar. All was going according to plan. The princess worried him however, she was tough. Something drastic had to be done to get her to break. But wha- A sudden jolt shot through the force!

Pain, Agony! They?re inside me! He?s screaming! She?s scared!

Vader shuddered as torrents of emotions flowed into him. Thoughts echoed in his brain. Thoughts that weren?t his, but seemed so familiar. Blue eyes flashed across his vision and tears poured from them. A face encircled by tousled sandy hair and a stubborn, resolute chin. So familiar. His mind took him back, years.

A child working on a pod-racer and a Mom kissing him gently upon the head. A boss beating the mother and tears staining the child?s cheeks as he was forced to watch in silence. Then the pictures changed. A man, a scoundrel. Dry wit and a snarky smirk. His head cocked slightly in concentration. His best friend by his side, a wookie.

And then it all cut off and he was left breathless. He reveled in the emotions that had caught him so off guard. The child looked remarkably like a young boy that was once called Anakin. Who lived with his mother on Tattooine without a fath- No! He would not think about that! That child was no longer a part of him! That life had disappeared long ago. And yet he felt a pang of jealousy towards this child he?d felt. To have a father, someone to be loved by and doted upon. Someone to cheer him on during his many races, not cower and pray in fear. A tear slipped out under his mask and down his neck. Vader?s spine straightened. That moment of weakness was over and he had a mission to do. Get the location of the rebel base from the Ambassador and find that Force sensitive boy!

Liked the last two updates. Enjoyed Vader's POV especially. Probation from the computer ... ack! I'd go crazy LOL

wow, I almost feel sorry for Vader, still I worry about what he intends to do about this vision.

I almost went crazy not being able to use a computer for 3 days due to my leg, I don't know how I would manage longer then that

 

Your writing is really blossoming. I loved the Vader perspective btw.

?He?s coming.? The words escaped the boy?s lips in a whisper, but it might as well have been a shout. ?Who?s coming??? The officer said looking around for a place to set him down. ?The man in black, he?s coming for me.? The officer opened one of the bunkrooms and set Anakin down on one of the beds. The boy shook in terror. ?We have to get off this ship. He?s coming for us.? The officer knelt down in front of the bed. ?I?ll get you off at our next stop.? He promised. He could probably find the kid a ride to one of the nearby planets after they rendezvoused with the Death Star. ?Look, Anakin, I have to go report in. But I?ll be back as soon as I finish. Do you think you could take a nap or something until I return?? Anakin slowly nodded. ?Ok, I?ll be right back.? Anakin watched with fear filled eyes as the officer left the room. He curled up against a pillow and pulled the scratchy blanket over his small body. Tears streamed down his cheeks and he slowly closed his eyes. He dreamt of his mom.

The rebel tried as hard as he could to keep watch over the ambassador after she was processed. He?d managed to pull guard duty and he was only a few feet from her cell. He was guarding the prisoner next door, a small rat like man with shifty eyes and an upturned nose. He wondered for a moment what he was in here for. But then his attention went back to the princess. She hadn?t been tortured yet, that would be later. He heard that she would be interrogated by Darth Vader himself. He shuddered in fear but he even shaking in fear he never took his eyes off the princess. She just lay there, silent and serene. Nothing seemed to faze her. He wished he had her courage but he knew he would never get it. He was nothing but a cowardly turncoat. The rebel couldn?t seem to purge the image of the ambassador crumbling to the ground and him just standing there. Of her sitting beside him, taking all of the abuse from the other Stormtroopers, and him just sitting there, watching. He was nothing but a spineless hypocrite. He swore to defend the alliance and yet here he was guarding imperial prisoners. Cowardly.

The officer stood in the doorway to the bridge waiting for the general to beckon for him to join him. The general had his back to him and was staring into the abyss that lay before him. After a few minutes the officer turned to leave. ?Jackson.? The officer swung around. ?Yes sir?? The general looked over his shoulder and grinned. ?Did you know if you stand at the right angle the whole room gets reflected onto the hull of the ship?? Officer Jackson looked at him with a confused expression. Then a shadow of a grin flickered on his face and he nodded. ?What did you want sir?? The general sighed. ?It?s always about business with you isn?t it?? He paused for a moment and then said. ?I want you to escort Lord Vader to our transferring prisoner.? Jackson gasped. Him? Escort the right hand man of the emperor! This was the kind of job that if he survived, led to a rather large promotion! ?Yes sir!? He said snapping to attention. ?Good.? The general replied. ?You are dismissed.? The officer turned to go, but stopped as he heard the general go on. ?I would hurry if I were you. Because that moon over there is our new battle station.?

Clouds drifted lazily above him; his mother sat beside him. They lay back against a great oak, picking out the shapes they saw above them. A small pond lay down the hill from them and Anakin could see the waterfowl frolicking in the waters. Small butterflies floated past and majestic birds soared on the wind. If he craned his head, Anakin could see the beginnings to a regal city off to his left. He was in paradise. Then all of the animals went silent. Something was wrong and they could sense it. The birds on the pond quickly took flight as if to escape some fast coming predator. But it was no use, there was no escaping this. One second the beauty of the world was overwhelming and then the next it was gone; vanished without a trace. Anakin floated in space all that remained of what had once been a peaceful planet. To his right he could see a colossal moon shaped battle station and at its helm was the dark man.

Anakin cried out and rolled off his bed. His head smacked against the frame of the door and he hit the floor. Tears filled his eyes instinctively and he felt utterly alone.

Jackson stood at attention waiting for Lord Vader to enter from his ship. A shiver of apprehension coursed down his spine. Why was Vader coming aboard their ship? What did they ever do? The door slid open and five Stormtroopers marched in. They did a quick scan of the area and then continued on. Jackson turned and watched them leave. A hand reached out and grabbed the back of his tunic. ?Is this the security I can expect from this ship?? A deep, raspy voice said from behind him. He slowly turned around and exhaled sharply. The man before him gave off a large presence. If you actually looked at him, he wasn?t really that tall but he gave the impression that he was looming over you. This was not a man to be messed with. ?Right this way Lord Vader.? Jackson said and cautiously led him down to the detention block.

The rebel stood by the cell and watched as the cleaning droid went back and forth down the hallway. He found it nearly impossible to watch the prisoner without feeling guilty so instead, he watched everything but the cell. He occasionally worked up the courage to look at the regal lady for a moment but afterwards, he always felt even worse. He sighed and leaned up against the wall. Why hadn?t anyone come to relieve him!!? The sound of footsteps echoed down the hall and he perked up. An officer rounded the corner and Rebel gaped in shock. It was the officer who had taken the child from him and behind him was? Lord Vader.
