Discussion Characters from The Clone Wars that could appear in the sequel trilogy

The most likely is Chewbacca, although he's upposed to be dead, and he's not even on your list!

Cad Bane and Embo were both pretty cool bounty hunters, but since they don't appear in the OT, I'm assuming they're dead or retired. If Cad Bane were still alive and working, he would've been on the bridge of Vader's star destroyer next to Bossk, Boba, and IG-88.

But he isn't.

 

Disney, this right here is the main plot of your Bounty Hunter/Boba Fett spin off. Boba Fett vs Cad Bane. Do it!

 

Can't think of any to be honest. Would like to see Cad Bane feature along side Fett in a spin off. That'd be cool.i

 

I have no idea who this Rex guy is, I'm sure the same goes for tons of other fans my age.

 

CT-7567 "Rex" is the highest ranking Clone trooper assinged to Anakin Skywalker in the Clone Wars tv show. His counter part but for Obiwan was Commander Cody who did appear in Episode III, being the clone trooper to return Obiwan his saber only to get Order 66 moments later. Rex though had blue armor and was a member of the 501st which marched with Vader on the Jedi Tempal, so its possible he was one of the countless troopers there. He was fearcly loyal to Anakin and very compitiant. He was one of the better characters in the show and many episodes focused on him solely, later in the series he shaved his head so he'd be more distinct vs other clones.

Im of the opinion it would be fine for him to appear in the next animated show if set some time during either the Dark Times up to just after post RotJ, any later and he'd be too old. However only include him if there is purpose to it, not just cause.

Yeah...something I thought of awhile back was that Cad Bane mentored Boba and trained him to become the "best hunter in the galaxy". So, I could see Cad Bane as a supporting character in the Fett spinoff.

I haven't seen all TCW episodes involving young Boba...did Cad Bane and young Boba ever meet in TCW? I do know he hung out with Bossk and Sing for a while...

 

A story involving the two where they're facing off to be the most bad ass hunter in the galaxy. Imagine the scope for one liners! And give it a twist so Bane ends up being an anti hero.

 

I seem to recall Boba and Cad Bane meeting twice and eluding to a future rivialry... even though Cad and Jango got along fine in the past (though clearly not in the show)

The only time it showed Bane and Boba together was during their time in the Coruscant prison, and Bane got Boba to start a fight with Obi-Wan (disguised as Rako Hardeen), which made Bossk start the riot, then everyone escaped.

Of course, Smuggler! But he appeared in TCW cartoon as well, and the OP's question was regarding characters that appear in TCW cartoons, so...

 

There's no point in anyone from the PT/TCW popping up again for the ST. Its time to look forward for a change.
