am always reading all the midwest boards,
(from the Chicago-area)
trying to keep up with the many happenings.

and this kind of event is one of my favorites!

Much thanks for posting this. I have no idea if I can go yet, but I am sure gonna try.

Ooh, it sounds really cool and I wish I could go. I'm a little low in the funds department myself.

 

update:

Both the 501st and rebel legion (Costumers) have been asked to volunteer at the event. I highly recommend attending. Anthony Daniels(C-3PO)is the guest MC! this is a once in a life-time opportunity! to top it off this is in music Hall too! classy and awesome doesn't begin to cover it.

to my knowledge, only two other major Star Wars actors have been in Cincy EVER.

I currently have permission from grand Moff wife to go, and also time off from work,
checking out tickest, hotels and timing and stuff.

 

just to give everyone notice the concert is this weekend.


despite the death of Eric Kunzel, the show will go on.


I will be volunteering with the Rebel Legion/501st, so I will be in costume.

 

Unfortunately, I don't have the funds myself. I won't have anything for at least another month.

 

On the road

Last night in Bloomington, IN. and today in Cincinatti, OH.

Took a few pictures already on where the concert will be. If I have more energy,
and
the pictures do not look too bad, I will try to post them later.....

Also, you may notice that the concerts halls electronic sign is either not working of off,

Also, this location is kinda downtown Cincinatti, and it is 4.30 pm on a Wednessday,

and at the height of rush hour (even alleys in Chicago are busy), one of their main streets
seems almost deserted.

makes me wonder about the economey in the area......

wow... that was an extensive report of what went on!

good to know there was more than us just having us costumers and R2 builders being crammed backstage.
