    Hey, hope the title wasn't misleading ^^.
    I just need some help and opinions from others living in Melbourne, or, at least, people who have been to the City Centre of Melbourne.
    I'm making a STar Wars FanFilm, and A couple of scenees are going ot be filmed in Coruscant... can anyone name me some places in the city that would at least vaguely resemble a Coruscant-like setting? Yes, I know I'm being vague, but at this point of script construction I can't really help it ^_^;;

    Help would be appreciated!! Thankyou!! *waddles off*

    *laughs* Umm, maybe if we get to know each other at some point~. Yah, I'm probably going to film some of the Coruscant scenes in front of tha Green Screen and put in a Coruscant in the background, but I'll need the city for this film too. *kicks Vodaphone Arena*

    Hey Zaxuku! I'm surprised lordvaderFF hasn't popped in here at all...or Nick...Hmm, anyway, the only suggestions I can make are for alleys and little shopping places that might work for the gambling district or the slums. Namely: Centre Place, just off Flinders Lane. I've always liked the idea of shooting something in there. Very crowded, dirty, lost of shops and neon lights and cluttered architecture.

    Building 333 Collins Street has a gorgeous interior that could work for the Imperial Palace or maybe the Jedi Temple - High ceilings, long corridor down one end, water features, big staircase.

    Uhhmmm, futuristicy places like RMIT and bits of Melbourne Central might work. Along with the State Library interior if you're thinking about the Jedi Library at all.

    I don't know what you want so this is the best I can do! :p

    Good luck with the film, please let us know how you go and if you'd like any help :)

    Skate's got the right idea with some of those alleys...if you wanted to capture the seedy underbelly of Coruscant, there are some truly foul alleyways to pick from. State Library interior is cool too. Fed Square's too...weird...on the outside, but it might work on the inside, like in ACMI.

    Yeah, I don't know if Melbourne is really Coruscant styled. It's a bit too? nice.

    You might have a little bit of luck at night near the Casino, though, if you don't show any specifics.
