Always nice to see proof George was also doing some directing work during Empire.

I wonder what's going on in this picture? Are the rehearsing something that didn't make it in the film or are they on break between takes?

 

Looks like they're on break - Mark Hamill is holding a fan in his hand to keep cool.

 

Always loved the image used on the card for the vintage Kenner Bossk action figure. That image partially influenced my decision to purchase the figure in 1981/82. Never seen this variant before. Nice.

A lot of rare images I've never seen before. Nice stuff!

Is that Carrie's real hair? Never seen her blonde before. Looks like a wig?

I can see why she was asked to lose some weight. She still looks great.

The Holo-Chess beast (on the far left) looks like a prototype Rancor beast.

 

It is a wig. Her natural hair was the same color as the hair bun extensions she wore.

 

Here's some I've found,

 

Strange image of Carrie Fisher & Harrison Ford on set. Is she wearing the puffer coat to protect her costume underneath? It’s a bit warm to wear something like that indoors.

 

I think I remember reading the sets were really hot for Echo Base which makes it even stranger.

 

If I had to guess, I'd say it's cold brought on by a compromised immune system - possibly the result of being stoned out of her mind for a good portion of the time.

 

Probably, She was literally sick so often they told her to stay home but she didn't want to.

I have been laughing at this one especially for days. Why does it look like a livingroom in the 90s? I can't get over it. It literally looks like some family photo of a 90s livingroom.
The colours, the floor with the extra step up into the sitting area of the living room. There's like a table and lamps. The arches. It looks like a couch a big pillow and a standing lamp in the back, I'm wheezing. I'm obsessed with this photo.
