I just found this information though:

Here's a write-up by Ed on the US info:

The Cartoon Network will be airing a series of 20 Star Wars shorts (2-3
minutes each) that take place in the time period between Episode II and
Episode III. The Clone Wars is produced at the Cartoon Network Studios by a
team led by Genndy Tartakovsky, the creator of Samurai Jack and Dexter's
Laboratory. Watch the Jedi Knights lead the Republic's Clone Army against new
and ruthless adversaries across the galaxy.

The shorts will be serialized and air weekdays from 8:00 to 8:05pm. The first
episode airs tomorrow. The first ten episodes will air this month. The second
    ten sometime in the spring.

Now I don't know if that means the end of this year or next year, after the second set of chapters have aired.

A DVD? They are going to ask us to shell out 20 bucks for a 30 minute DVD? Ugh... that is one Star Wars thing that I won't be buying...

Hey guys, i posted this in the Canada General thread but i'll post it again here on how to get your very own download of it.

I've been able to secure a copy of the cartoon, and i will have access to an online copy of it for the duration.

To download it you need to use a client called Bittorrent (if you don't knwo what that is). Bittorent is basically a peer to peer server but unlike Kazza it forces you to share the file while you are downloading it. This results in a much faster download!

to download the client go HERE. This is the version i use however you can also use the official client which can be found HERE.

Now that you have the client installed go to this page. Supernova.org and at the top click on tv-shows and then it should be listed under the cartoons metalink, or you can just scroll down!

I hope this helps and feel free to use this page for much more! you can find old tvshows, and a hell of alot of other junk to download rather quickly!

Canada's Teletoon to Air Clone Wars Cartoon
    Wed, Nov 26, 03 12:25:02 PM EST

    Press Release
    TELETOON Brings You the Force

Cartoon Series Star Wars: Clone Wars
    Debuts January 3 at 5:00 p.m.

Star Wars fans will be wildly "animated" to hear that the epic micro-series Star Wars: Clone Wars is coming to Canada. TELETOON will broadcast the series Saturdays at 5:00 p.m., leading into the network's popular CINETOON feature, and Mondays and Sundays at 9:30 p.m. as a special KAPOW! presentation in The Detour.

Star Wars: Clone Wars creator Genndy Tartakovsky worked closely with George Lucas to continue the saga where the Star Wars feature film Episode II: Attack of the Clones left off. Consisting of 20 three-minute "chapters", the series is produced with traditional cell animation with some CGI computer-generated effects.

An epic civil war rages at the beginning of Star Wars: Clone Wars, pitting the old Galactic Republic against a vast separatist movement and its cloned troopers. The valiant Jedi Knights return in all their glory to lead the Republic's forces against adversaries across the universe. Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi are among the famous characters appearing in animated form. Many of the same live-action actors provide voiceovers for the series.

Produced by The Cartoon Network and Lucasfilm Ltd., the series is sure to create a new swell of interest in the Star Wars franchise prior to the release of Episode III next year. For more Star Wars content, visit www.teletoon.com prior to the January, 2004 premiere broadcast.

Fire up your VCR's, guys. :D

Well, thank goodness there's still 7 more episodes to go - lots of time to show more of the jedi and less of the boring, faceless clones run around deserted cities. [face_plain]

Well, Episode 6 was on last night, and Episode 7 will be on tonight, so we'll have at least two more weeks before theys start repeats, since we're not likely to be seeing the new ones till after the US does.

And speaking of which, apparently Cassandra and me have been the only ones watching it. Has anyone else been seeing it?

What?? It's also been on Sundays and Mondays @ 9:30pm.

Yes. Yes, it does. Episode 4 introduces us to the new Boba Fett (Durge), Episode 5 has a great stand alone story, and Episode 6 has some good Jedi action.

Cassandra, Episodes 6 and 7 will be on tonight. Make sure you watch 'em. :)

How quick can you get to my house? ;) :p

But seriously, lemme summarize what happens in Episodes 4 and 5.

    *spolier space*

Episode 4: Republic closes in. San Hill sends out Durge. Durge blows up Republic artillery.

Episode 5: Kit Fisto and clones arrive at Mon Calamari. Big underwater fight ensues. Big weapon gets trashed.

    The end. :)
