So, this is something that I have been working on a long time. Three months to be exact, I was busy a lot. It is the largest and most finished timeline, I've ever undertaken. What I basically did was, I combined the Legends media timeline with the Canon media timeline from Wookieepedia and the chronological Clone Wars series viewing order. I put it together in a way that I believe made the most sense. I had to move around a few things as you will notice. Unfortunately I also had to subtract a few things, due to the fact that I figured out that even fan fiction couldn't fix everything, sadly. The very first comic and novel based on the animated series is one such example. I also didn't include online games or mobile games that are no longer accessible to the public or comics in magazines that can no longer be purchased or viewed anywhere or comics that were basically a retread of an episode in the animated series or something that happens during an episode. Just didn't make sense to me to include that stuff. I forgot however the MMO Clone Wars Adventures is making a comeback in the form of EMU. So, that could be placed anywhere after season 3. If you see this * it means I added a short fanfic to retconn inconsistencies. So, there is no confusion, there are some references here to youtube's star wars audio comics. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

As you will notice, the one thing I didn't do was to add BBY or ABG dates. That just got too complicated and there's a lot of media where that is actually unknown, so that would be more of a headache. As a side note I haven't read Dark Disciple yet, but hopefully I didn't miss any other inconsistencies that are in that. I'm posting this list as a resource here. Feel free to use my list or my retconns, if you wish; to experience everything Clone Wars, or you can use this list as a base to make your own. Enjoy!

After doing battle with Asajj Ventress, he was mortally wounded by her, and sent to a separatist prison, similar to the “Citadel.” He was imprisoned there for several months. By the Jedi Order, Tholme is presumed dead.

So, Dooku provides a DNA sample to a loyal Kaminoan to clone Ventress, after her growth acceleration is completed the cloned Ventress is sent to Coruscant to kill Skywalker. This is an incredible undertaking, and I'm glad you did it first because I was about to embark on my own attempt to provide a One Canon timeline of the Clone Wars.

Did you keep a list of what you weren't able to include on this timeline? I'd be interested to know exactly what got discarded.

Sure thing, you look at this list here: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline_of_Legends_media it'll show both what I included and what I didn't include. Interestingly, pretty much all the canon content was included with mostly some legends content that I didn't include. It was unfortunate that not all of it could be made to fit. There were problems such as: some tie ins to the Dave Filoni animated series actually contradict the animated series, lol. For example, one of the earliest comics based of the Filoni series is The Clone Wars: Shipyards of Doom. In it, Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka freeze themselves in carbonite in order to infiltrate a separatist base, as you might recall they do this again in season 3 and in that episode Anakin literally says, he's never tried this before. I tried to include all the Clone Wars comics based on the animated series that I could. They were also some YRN that I didn't include.

I'm not one for importing huge sections of Legends into my Canon head-canon, but I'll make an exception for quite a fair chunk of the 2002-05 Clone Wars stuff, particularly the Republic comics.

Dark Disciple makes things a bit messy, but if you take the literal text of things as from a certain point of view, while leaving the main plot points as things that definitely happened, you can squint a bit and it can gel if you want it to, though perhaps on the basis at Dooku is having a second attempt at getting Vos over to the dark side, and yet another Tholme not-actual-death.

Where things get difficult to import into Canon is Obsession, particularly the contradictions around Adi Gallia's death and Dooku rejecting Ventress. Perhaps the events on Boz Pity really are an in-universe legend - Gallia and Ventress were never really there, but Grievous still killed off Soon Bayts and fought other Jedi.

I tend to ignore all the dates given around the Clone Wars. Stretch things out a bit so it's more like 3 years and 11 months and assume that the TV series actually begins something like halfway through the war and therefore has almost two years to play out.
