Colum, OH "Clone Wars" trailer

Well, I must say that this was the best of all the trailers to date. I was very impressed with what I saw of the digital effects, and the trailer had more of a feel like the old trilogy. I think this clinches for me that this movie will be really good.

 

I wanted to see Yoda catching force lightning! But, overall, yes. Definatly an awesome trailer!

 

I thought it was great! I really liked when Dooku delivered his line.



I can't wait 'till our next meeting. Anyone come up with anything new? Don't forget to write it down.

 

The trailer was awesome. I really liked seeing the Jedi in action.

Ok don't listen to the reports that the trailer is not with Ice Age...I saw it tonight at Gahanna and it was with the movie!!! And was so much better than seeing it on tv well worth the 6$ ticket

 

Amaunet, were you able to tell who any of the jedi were in the "last stand" circle, when viewed on the big screen? There is so much debate going on as to which Jedi are where, etc. Colin and I watched a frame by frame and we think we have it figured out, but it may be easier to see on the big screen....

 

Unfortunatly not...it moves so fast that it is almost over before it starts

 

It does look awesome on the big screen. TV just does not do it justice. As for who the Jedi in the battle circle are? Are have no idea. Who do believe to be in there Mrs_MayimNarr?

4) an x-tra/un-named jedi -- he dies in the last frame. you can see two shots go at him, and then he clearly lurches to his left, after being hit.
5) Shaak Ti
6) not sure
7) Plo Koon
8) Adi Gallia
9) not sure
10) Bultar Swann
11) Eeth Koth
12) not sure -- maybe Ki Adi Mundi
13) Luminara and Barriss both listed as one number
14) Anakin
15) Padme

That is just my best guess. We're anxious to see what turns out to be true! I know this is covered in this topic, but that thread has long since turned into a bunch of bantering children. I'm curious as to what Columbus people think! So any one else have any guesses?

 

Thanks for the information. It's hard to tell from that pic, but there's a good chance you're right. Though I wouldn't say that No.2 was Obi-Wan simply because the lightsaber isn't blue. But isn't the guesswork half the fun?

 

Darthclerical actually I think that lightsaber is blue, it just looks purple in the picture shown because of the fluctuatoin in light from frame to frame. Most discussions I have seen have actually determined that the onlt truly purple saber in the movie is Mace's. Someone even pointed out that in the "Good to G.O." footage, mace asks about having a purple lightsaber and George says "You might get a purple light saber." implying that he is the only one who will get one. Most screen captures, however make all the blue lightsabers look purple. Who knows...I guess we just have to watch the movie, huh?

I loved the trailers, all of them, this is by far my fave however.
