I personally think there is plenty of room to fit both origin stories. General Grievous could have given himself cybernetic implants but then the shuttle crash is what finally makes him become what he is during the Clone Wars.

 

Grievous is becoming the SW Tin Man...chopping off a piece at a time...

We know the cyberneticists DID things to his brain...mayybe he has some false memories

 

See? That wasn't so bad. All he says is that he wanted to improve himself...it fits fine. And on the plus side, awesome fight with Fisto - eventually.

If you can tell me without spoiling anything important in Order 66, what exactly was contradicted from History of the Mandalorians?

 

Basically, the entire Mandalorian History since the Clone Wars., particularly those parts involve Spar and Shysa, are rewritten.

 

So basically the same stuff people were talking about after Revelation, only in greater detail?

Next episode, Dooku Captured, airs January 2nd, so the next webcomic will appear around January 1st...

Hey, folks -- I was told this week's webcomic may end up being posted late because of New Year's, people being out of the office, etc. I wish that weren't the case, but I figured I'd let you know - Didn't want anyone to think the comics had stopped or anything.

Am I the only one who likes viewing the comics in this format better?

 

You most certainly are not.

 

The renderer in the flash-based viewer is so bad I can't read the text properly when in normal zoom, this is much better.

 

So Anakin's saber is apparently destroyed...

I guess that means it's not Luke's ANH saber yet, even though it looked like it in the movie?

Does that mean we'll get to see the construction of Luke's saber on the show?

Or is the retcon going to be that the one in the comic was just a spare?

 

Wasn't that Anakin's real lightsaber with Obi-Wan? I thought the idea was that Anakin's was just a dupe in that fight because he meant to get captured.

 

Arawn_Fenn: Anakin's real lightsaber wasn't destroyed -- He made a duplicate saber, and that's the one that gets shot. In the end of the comic, Obi-Wan has Anakin's real saber.

 

I still think we should've seen the construction of Anakin's ROTS/Luke's ANH-TESB saber at some point. Upon rereading SOTP I noticed a reference to Anakin constructing this saber, and I wondered why this wasn't covered by either the PT or CW.

 

Well, dang. Wish I'd read this comic before I'd seen the episode. I wouldn't have felt like I might have missed something at the beginning.

 

Where is the next comic is going to come out?

Or it will be the usual format?

This one was cute. Some good-natured fun. I approve.

Though, I worry for those who have/will not read it, fearing that they are going to be TOTALLY lost come next episode

 

Meh. It didn't do too much for me. Though I did like how he finally got them, I though the rest of it was just a constant repeat of the gag from the end of Dooku Captured. To be fair, it's a fun gag, but way overplayed here.


I also have to agree with you Ga. The last episode ended on a high note with them outsmarting the pirates, but now suddenly they'll be captured? Between this, and the last episode where Anakin randomly was captured at the very start, I think these in medias res starts are getting out of hand. I wish they weren't so gung-ho about making each episode a self contained story. There is absolutely nothing wrong with ending on a cliff hanger, or starting from a slightly more reasonable point.
