On an urelated subject, I found out today that Hasbro is doing a special where if you spend $20+ on select stuff you get a free gift. i figured oh boy, let me go see if I qualify, as yesterday I spent about $40 on Star wars stuff. I go on the site, and I can't see the application form unless I download stuff to my computer. I looked into what I needed to download, but it got way to complicated so I gave up. How frustrating, I wanted a free gift.

No. I couldn't get to the form to even see if I qualify. Apparently my cmputer can't run .pdf files unless I install the proper program, which is cool, but when I looked into one of the programs, I got bombarded with a bunch of stuff. While i was trying to figure out the TOS and licensing agrrements, I got hit with "add this, this, this, and this for free." All I want is a program to run the .pdf on, that's all I want, and what I got was overwhelmed with a bunch of other stuff.

 

That's sucks

 

What program do you guys have to run .pdf files?



@Lurch: I happen to think I post the same thing as everyone else........I just do it a lot faster.

That's what I wanted to install, but got bombarded with a whole bunch of other stuff. Maybe I should just take all the free stuff then. I mean installing it is free already, right? Why not get more free stuff?

I'm just afraid it's going to cost money to install the basic program, but I'm pretty sure if it did, there would be a fairly vivd part showing where you have to pay.

 

were you asking if Adobe Acrobat reader is free?
if so yes its.

 

Adobe Acrobat is free - usually comes already installed with the computer, and most games have a version to install as well
