The show was worth making just for that.

 

I think the show was worth it just for Bane and Boba. That is if Bane stays dead

 

Bane won't stay dead. His droid was being signaled to come pick him up.

I'm excited about Cobb Vanth being modded. I remember thinking during S2 that he needed something to replace his armor, and this will be it!

Can't wait to see where he pops up again.

 

I figure Cobb is just an easy way to let Boba go off on Further Adventures.
It becomes a background fact in the Mandoverse that Cobb is running Tatooine.
It might get used in an episode, it might not.

Otherwise Boba Fett gets "Kenobied". He gets stuck on Tatooine, unable to do anything else.

 

Maybe he picks up on that conversation with the Hutts and takes them out for good

 

The Twins are still out there, unresolved. Checkov's Hutts.
There has to be a plan for them.

 

I do think they’ll be one of the hooks for season 2

 

What modifications is Cobb going to receive, wrong answers only

 

He’ll be infused with plot armor oh wait you said wrong answers only

 

Part Cobb, part Vespa.

 

His head is going to be attached backwards.

 

He'll make point five past lightspeed when Thundercat is done with him.

 

Cobb Vanth is more mythosaur now than man.

 

Why, it's Vanth of the Tatooine Sand.
With a hand for a foot and a foot for a hand!

 

Boba will be Team Lead on Rangers of the New Republic with Fennec, BK, Drash and Spinner. That will be marvellous.

 

After writing that, I wondered, well, what was the point of it all then?
Boba gets into a turf war, wins after much death and destruction, then just gives it away.

 

People are going a bit too far, IMO, with Boba's discomfort with being a leader. That line doesn't have to mean anything except expressing the strangeness of his new position of respect.

But it also signals that he'll want to take part in more action in the future. And crossover events.

That's good news. Olyphant is a great actor for SW. I'm definitely excited to see more of him.

With Boba in charge of Tatooine, it actually frees Cobb up to go off planet as a ranger, maybe. When they mentioned the Rangers show so long ago, Cobb Vanth always seemed like the perfect recruit.

 

Great signals…in a way Cobb seems to be the closest thing to Han Solo…
