Let me try to clarify about the clear liquid thing. Clear Pepsi just appears unsettling to me because I'm so used to Pepsi being dark in color. But really, who the **** cares? I don't think it looks good. I don't like fizzy water or club soda, yet I like mojitos. So what? I ain't perfect....yet.

Crystal Pepsi didn't taste bad IIRC. But then again I was only twelve when I had my only Crystal Pepsi can.

 

Coke Zero is a new one that's terrible.

I thought Coke Zero was more of a Diet Coke remix.

 

Is that all it is? I took a few swigs a few months ago and it tasted far worse. Maybe something I ate just before skewed the flavor? It didn't taste like DC to me but I suppose it could just be a fancy rebranding.

 

Coke Zero tastes the same as Diet to me.

It's Diet Coke rebranded for men, because men are ashamed to drink Diet soda, or something--true story.

None of these are as nice, or as smooth to drink as Vanilla Coke.

 

@Darth Tunick , I like VC but haven't had one for years. I usually like fountain over canned/bottled and many of the local C stores don't carry it that way.

 

Tunick, you need to get some new material--you're starting to sound like Rain Man.

I asked a friend who's tried both and apparently the recipes are different. Though I'd imagine the naming convention was chosen for that traditional goofball reason.
