Collection Photos Thread V.2 (Image Heavy)

Yeah I'm happy that I can care less about the Mandelorians (however it's spelled.) I'm also glad that they're slowing down making films....at least that we know of.

I have more TFA stuff than I really need because we all went nuts buying stuff from that film. I'm now selective. I try to wait until the film comes out to decide what to buy. Since I usually put things up in themes/scenes that's usually how I buy stuff. Anything else that doesn't really work for my displays I just hold onto until I have room. Like I'm going to have a deluxe Hot Toys Han Solo from Solo coming and I have the Corellian speeder - eventually I'll need a Solo shelf for all of that to fit. But I'm not getting too much else for that film.

I think my biggest thing I have to slow down w/ is Pops - those darned things they go on clearance cheap and they completely take over the place.

 

Yeah the pops seem to do that LOL

 

We just recently moved into a new place and I've started the slow process of re-setting up my entire collection. So far, I've only got the Kenner Boba Fett shelf done:

Good luck on your search for the 6" Kenner Fett -- that was originally an SDCC exclusive, but was available on sites like Hasbropulse for a very short time. Supposedly, that figure will continue to be a convention exclusive at other non-US Cons this year. There's probably still some on ebay, but expect to get gouged.

 

I won't die if I don't get him. But I do like the look of the figure. I won't pay outrageous scalper prices.

Heh, yeah, I don’t think that will ever happen. But hey, the Jumbo Fett has the rocket firing action, so at least I have that.

 

Yeah it also has a range finder if you look through the helmet, correct?

 

No, sorry, I was talking about the Gentle Giant Jumbo Kenner Fett — it’s just a 12” version of the original 3 3/4 figure.

PLJ, your collection is truly insane (in a good way). I really like your Episode I stuff. I know what you mean about waiting to see the movie before deciding to buy something. It's kinda hard when they release figures/toys so early and then they might not be available when the film drops, or the prices skyrocket, or if you're lucky they drop.

 

With Hot Toys or Sideshow stuff if you want it - you have to get it in the first year that it's out or pre-order stuff. If you don't they just skyrocket in price.

The only good thing w/ me since I'm a deboxer I can get stuff cheap since I'm happy to take damaged boxes or deboxed stuff if it's out of production.
