Collection Photos Thread V.2 (Image Heavy)

I've been working on moving some stuff around on my shelves. I'm hoping in the Fall that I'll pick up some new bookcases so I can finally get everything out and on display. But until then - here are a few updated photos, my full updated images are up on my Facebook page.

@PadmeLeiaJaina What exactly is that Luke with what looks like fire coming from his saber on your Death Star 2 shelf? Looks really good. Well your whole collection amazes me but that caught my eye in particular.

 

He's a Hasbro Unleashed 7" figure. They came out early 2000's. Click HERE to peruse the line. I have more of those in storage. Really irritates me that they're in storage. LOL.

 

Updated my room again - some updates, I had picked up a 6 cubby wall shelf at Goodwill and took it and put it on my table (it's a big heavy particle board thing, no way I'm trying to put that on a wall) - now the back of my desk looks a lot more organized AND I had room for some small displays and was able to get some breakables out of the way.

Got some puzzle boxes that were Clone Wars used them for levels in my display - I like how it looks in there now, not as crowded.



Also my Leia shelf isn't as crowded after moving the little stuff over to the cubby shelf

@PadmeLeiaJaina Absolutely STELLAR collection. As you said, 41 years in the making and LOTS of money, so I can understand the time it's taken to get there, haha, but I will say, with all honor to you, THAT is a collection to strive for! Amazing. The pictures are candy to my eye!

Aww thank you. Believe it or not I have a LOT more stuff that's not on display. I have stuff in storage and stuff that's hidden in a closet and in boxes. All of my ships are in storage. But I'm happy w/ what I've got out. I just could use more shelves so everything isn't so crammed.

 

One thing I particularly like is the organazation of your collection. I tried to display my sw ships so I understand why they're in storage

 

I never had ships when I was a kid, I got a few vintage ships and newer 90's ones when they first came out. I tend to prefer to focus on characters rather than ships, but I would like to have mine on display. I just recently got that BB-8 playset and really like how it looks w/ the figures displayed. It's hard to split focus for display purposes though.

 

Yeah I understand the bb-8 playset is hard to fit anywhere.

 

Well I got mine to fit, I just don't have room for other stuff like ships. Goal for this fall is to get myself 3-4 new bookcases as a start so I can start displaying more of my items that aren't on display currently and then hopefully have room for my stuff that's in storage. Hopefully I can get my stuff out - I live in AZ, it's still 100 degrees here I can't get to my storage unit until winter.

 

I've got a few ships - mostly Slave I. I have a large version in Jango's colors on display that came out at AOTC time. I have a boxed one in Boba's colors. I have a few small versions on stands and I have an X-Wing that I found in a charity shop. I tend to go for characters.

I know my collection may not be near as awesome as yours. But I realized it isn't what all you don't have it is what you have and that it makes you happy and thats just what my collection does.

 

Everyone's collection is awesome, size matters not! I'm getting to a point right now where I desperately need to stop buying 'stuff' and work on getting myself more bookcases so I can spread things out and have room to grow for my collection. It's kind of bursting at the seams.

 

Thats got to be hard with the new movie coming out.
