Collectormania 8 : 30th Spetember to 2nd October - Organisation Thread

As the other thread is a bit disorganised, thought we'd start a new thread purely for organisation details.

For anyone who doesn't know anything about this even, the website is Collectormania.com/ and it os on from Friday 30th Spetember until Sunday 2nd October, is free, and is in thecentre:mk (the bid shopping centre) , Milton Keynes.

From the way this is looking I would say, shall we only have a proper meet on Saturday? It'd be easier that organising three seperate ones.

Opening times are 9am - 6pm. Also a the time you will be there untill would be useful as well. Really organised aren't I!

Costumes, I like it!

I don't think we'll need to do the badge idea if we are going to meet at certain times/places. Except it might help with names... Other than that we could either say what we are going to wear (as in noraml clothes).

 

I'll be seriously considering on going too. Ill have to sort myself out soon though and how long ill be going for,( if ). How far is the centre from the train station? anyone clued up. thought i'l get the most I can before I have to hunt out for it myself

I don't know if to add me on the list just yet. However If i go it would probably be on the Saturday. I'm from Up t'north but from september onwards Ill be at manchester MET with a rail card, so cheaper rail prices for me! that was one of my main problems for the alton towers meet we had on july 1st.

So If I went it would be the saturday. Also If I go Ill probably go for the Buffy talk... whats everyone's plan for the "collectormania party" thing or whatever hell it is?

 

I think the party's in the evening, so I know I cant go. I don't really know what it is as I've never been to one. However I know a girl who has, so, unless anyone on here has been, I'll ask her about it.

 

Well, the party needs advanced ticket bookings, so most people dont go because they dont know what day they are going until nearer the event.

As for the party, its supposed to be pretty good. They have live music, and some of the celebs that are signing also attened the party, so you get to hang out with them.

From picks ive seen, they have had one of those bucking bronco things, so i suppose its quite a relaxed atmosphere.

 

Well, if we arrange the main meet up for the Saturday day time. That way no one has to pay if they don't want to. I think you need to book up for the party very quickly if you want to go.

No worries, I just thought the party could be cool.... Even though I would probabyl ahve to stay oevr night which I would be screwed in that case. If I go the Buffy talk is a must.. gotta book that ASAP when/if I confirm on going
