Wish I could've come to the FF Europe-meeting, but work and money put a stop to it . . .

So any of you guys that know MK, How easy is it to get from the train station to the event ?

 

I went to Collectormania 7 and it is walking distance from the train station, if you don't mind a healthy walk. It's not that far though.

 

I've been informed that Will Shatner is only appearing for one day, and that's likely to be Saturday (although that's my guess). If you really want his autograph, then I suggest the first thing you do when you arrive is find out where he is signing and grab a virtual ticket because I think he's ganna be popular and his tickets are likely to all go really early.

A healthy walk is a great way to describe it
Depending on how fast you walk, I'd say about 10 mins perhaps. I haven't walked it myself, but it's fairly straight forward (no pun intended) thanks to the unique grid-like system that MK has adopted. Basically it's a straight line from the station, and stop when you hit a great big glass building
You'll know that you're on the right track when you start to see a big silver dome building on the right, which is the Xscape building next to the shopping centre
Hope that helps....I have heard that Taxis in MK are quite expensive.

 

It is not a 10 minute walk, it took me 20 minutes when I stayed at the hotel across the road from the train station

 

I believe it is quite a long way, though the MK bus service is quite good.

Oh, no! Thats too bad Jeannette...hopefully you can come another time.

But my tickets arrived today and it says 20 mins from the train station, lol. It also recommends the bus service

Your lucky you live so close, the first time i went i bused it, took about 3 hours!! (an hour more than by car!)

Just found out that my EMA (educational maintenance allowance) will be mine by friday, so my day out is being payed for by the goverment!!
