Black Friday — yes — but that was more gym clothes/joggers.

Star Wars — some. I did find some black series figures I wanted — Andor Mon Mothma and TPM Padme. And some pop vinyls from Ahsoka.

I did a rewatch of BSG this summer since it was on Amazon. I seem to usually get through the first 2 seasons then stop, so it was nice seeing it to the end. I sometimes forget that once upon a time we were given amazing Sci-Fi tv programming. BSG was amazing.

I bit the bullet and bought some IKEA Billy shelves which match my other shelves...type wise, not color wise, my original IKEAs were a limited edition gunmetal color, new ones are blackish. My sister threw a curve ball at me and is basically ordering me to keep the huge desk in my SW room. She wants to evict me out of our office and set my office up in there. That's not happening until I get my room fully clean AND I can assure that I can get perfect internet in there. I moved to our office years ago because internet on the other side of my house is spotty. If Cox can come out and run another line so we can put a second modem in, I guess I'll do it. Plus side is my SW room is cool in the Summer, whereas the office is raging, boiling hot. (The joy of living on Tatooine).

I started my long cleaning process in my SW room this weekend and cleaned up around and on my desk. I have a bunch of trash to haul out, then comes attacking my piles of junk to either goto Toy Anxiety or Goodwill. If I can fully sort that out - that will give me a ton of room again. I have a wire set of shelves that are MEGA strong (like each shelf holds 300lbs strong) that I can move stuff around and put it up first. I can then fill it w/ all of my SW books. That will get another huge batch of boxes out of my room which should make the rest of my stuff a lot easier to deal with. The shelf is bigger than what I was planning for my books, but realistically I need it. I have an enormous book collection.

I'm going to have to get creative for the layout of the rest of my shelving in there. I'll have a clearer idea for that once I have a club/futon chair pulled out...which will be another issue.

OMG OMG OMG - they just announced Hayden Christensen at my local con Phoenix Fan Fusion! He's going to be there w/ Anthony Daniels!!!!

 

He’s a super nice guy, I met him at celebration 2019! Very worth it!

 

Well - I'm officially nuts. I missed out on just getting standard autographs for Hayden....so I bought a huge fan package with him....YIKES! I'm getting a photo op - a premium autograph (I'll probably bring a poster) and a special lanyard and tag...for almost $800. Thank god for Affirm. Also got better seats for the Hayden panel, and I did get an autograph with Anthony Daniels.

It's still cheaper than going to Celebration. lol

 

I'm excited.I'm just a bit panicky over the cost of the package, but I will get a photo op and a signature on pretty much whatever I want him to sign. I had planned on just getting a couple of 8x10 signatures but now I think I'll have him sign one of my Prequel film posters. I have this one that I got before the film came out - I think it would be a great canvass for prequel signatures



We have Anthony Daniels coming also. I got an 8x10 signature of him. I'm glad Ewan isn't coming. I wouldn't be able to afford both him and Hayden. But who knows, maybe next year!

 

I'm excited. I now think I'll have him sign my " Attack of the Clones" poster. 2 Star Wars Legends in one weekend will be pretty awesome.
