If it became world-wide I might join, as long as the UK got Insider. The UK Star Wars magazine does reprint some of the Insider articles but not all (especially not the fiction).

Hey Mike, Book it with budget or Ryder. UHaul really sucks and they cost more. We used them for our move and we didn't get the truck until 9pm that night...we ordered it for 7am...

Last collectables I found were those Jango Lego pens, Mike (I went back and got the second one that Entertainer had. Now the local store only has a few other non-Jango pens left). However, I am taking a couple of days off at the beginning of May and I am planning a Forbidden Planet run for one of them. There isn't a whole lot I am looking for at this point.

He spoke about an international fan club where every country would have the same benefits and merchandise George but like Jeannette said this is not the first time this has been discussed. I am going to think positive and hope for the best

 

Thanks Mike, I guess we can only hope but it still sounds more promising than usual! I remember the days in the early 80's when we all had the same club, we all got the same packs and the same issues of Bantha Tracks! and I still had my hair! those were the days!!

Now Jeannette you shouldn't go about disrespecting the aged, It's hard enough to bear as it is! I brought out my old vinyl singles the other day and Jack (my eldest son) asked me what they were and after showing him they played music he asked me how did we play them in our cars in the "olden days" I'm off to the old folks home!

 

I guess that I am lucky. I am the oldest guy here and have all my hair

OK, I have a very wonderful story about patience with a figure.

My local grocery store had a Reek in the toy aisle. I knew that they would eventually mark it down from 14.99 so I kept waiting. I waited for months to get my Reek. And it is the one that stomps and snarls.

Finally one day I went in and it was gone! [face_shocked] I was heartbroken. Then as I was shopping I came across a basket that said "Reduced to Clear" and there he was . . . my Reek . And I got him for $5.



And we have a saying in my fan force . . .

Was there really a vintage Darth Vader that came with a green lightsaber? They showed a brief close up of the figures in Erics' Millineum Falcon carry case and the one luke I seen was a modern figure. Come on 70's show directors' .... geez....

Exactly right spooky. Well, at least Mike opens the new thread he's already created at that point.

TFN's boards get a bit...freaky...when you let a thread get to long.

I remember the Cantina social thread over in the AOTC forum (back when it was Ep2 Spoilers Allowed)...that was a mess.

 

I dunno some of the European threads are like 20,000

 

Then maybe they've fixed the boards over the years...all I know is ye olde cantina would routinely mess up...particularly suffering from a "phantom page" problem where it would just ignore posts.

Of course, we went over 100,000 posts easily.
