Costume Thread

Soooooo tempted to use the "edit" button.

Hey, i've been cleaning my car for 3 hours and i'm tired. Got someone coming to look at it on Saturday and I want it to look it's best.

The only problem now is that i've somehow shorted the electric windows

 

just point out bobas is green and jango's is blue! also its the best boba costume ive seen! it looks like the real thing when your near it

 

I've seen one of those cosutumes. We all went as Star Wars characters to Halloween a few years back and we tried to get a friend to go as Jango, but he tried on the costume (same as one in pic) and it sucked. It was all floppy and the padding didn't pad.

So he went as Darth Maul instead. Probably the best Darth Maul lookalike that you (or anyone else for that matter) will ever seen in your life. We took loads of pics, but the film in his camera was 4 years old (which he didn't tell us at the time) and the pics didn't come out.

 

the best darth mauls ive seen was at the NSC the other week and the boba costume is metal not floppy stuff!

 

I stand corrected. It does look very similar though? I think it might be a good idea for the owner of this costume to get some serious padding. I don't think he has the frame to pull off a Jango. He was way too skinny and if he really did put that much effort into buying/making a real Jango costume, it's a shame that it turned out so poorly in the picture.

That Maul guy you saw may have been good, but I promise you, if you ever saw my mate dressed up a Mauly you wouldn't believe your eyes.

He has the same build, the same facial structure and the same features. He could not have looked more like Maul if he were a clone.

 

the guy im thinking of is part of the UKG! and yes the person in the boba costume was a bit slim he and his wife shared if throughout the day

lol e.g. a guy walks into the room and the woman in the costume really likes him and starts ot be very girly around him lol! the guy thinks what a gay wierdo. they swap half way through. the guy is now in the costume and needs to talk to this other guy but he things that he is gay so runs! lol

 

Wouldn't the voice be a give away?

Unless he/she were dubbed, ala DVD boxset.

The only thing that I can think of that would fit and be in context is "bad". But then that's hardly a swear word is it?

Next thing you know your going to be dropping the U from words like Neughbours and Colour and referring to our country as "quaint".

 

isnt it quaint ? We have those plates from Royal Doulton that tell us so.

 

Their and american conspiracy to talk over the world! i read it in that magazine luna's dad edits.

 

I don't think Britain has ever really been quaint.

We have some pretty hills and fields, but go anywhere near a town and your taking your life in your hands.

Not exactly quaint to have your head smashed in for a 50p and a mobile phone.

 

Except lately they dont seem to bother taking anything.

 

i know! they are just getting dumb!

 

That makes everything so much worse.

Without any kind of structure in their lives, even structure when beating and stealing is so much more dangerous. They will happily beat you half to death and leave you in a wheel chair for a mobile phone, even though they may chuck it in the nexy bin cause it's not G3.

Getting back on topic somewhat, looky at what I got a few days ago.

I still want to go as Indy for Halloween this year, but with such a quality Anakin cosutme, i'd be crazy to waste it.

 

is it really that good? where did you get it?(PM me this) and how much was it?
