by hands probably best unless the top of the wide enought to go around your machine but then you probably don't want to see the stitching so i'd do it by hand :)

Well I got some new black boots for my luke, and if they send brown like the last people did, I'll be sending them a nice letter bomb.

My brownboots I'm still gonna use for my Jedi, I have some vinyl I'm gonna use to make spats because those boots are ripped to hell.

I got most of my Darth Revan costume finished. The cape thingy is about 6 million pleats. Ugh......glad I'm done with that. I don't at all like the way it hangs though.....just this solid strip of pleats. But...that's what it basically looks like in the game. I think I might have to do version two. Not REALLY wanting to do that.....but I'm not really happy with it. Crappy.

See, I knew you'd know where to look! Thanks Dave. :)
I think I'm gonna see what I can come up with in plastic. That one is perfect but I think if I'm gonna spend $100 on a prop, it's not going to be for a $30 costume. :p
Maybe I'll just break out the fabric paint and upgrade my green dress. Except I'm beginging to loath my green dress and my hair is the wrong colour this month. :p

I guess you can always go to a toy store and see what kind of guns are out there and then start modding it.

We got lots done on Samantha's dress yesterday. We were trying to decide how she can do her hair and I had some ideas I pulled out of my pocket, but I thought I'd put it out there for you creative peoples and see what you suggest. Her hair is about the length of your's Terry and it's kinda thick. She's not a big fan of putting it back but I think she'd be okay if we had some really cool idea. I suggested perhaps a snood, or maybe have it like your's was Liann at the July feast with the really long pony tail.

Is anyone interested in a sewing day before the feast?

OMG Dave, bet you didn't know you were an enabler. I may get lost on those forums and never be heared from again!

Got most of the beading for the packing gown done. I knew keeping all the patterns from when I was a kid was a good idea, I have a perfect vest pattern, even the right size. Now I have to decide just how pleated that skirt is. I can't decide if it's single, or double box pleats or cartrage pleats.
