Lit Could Ken Palpatine ever be "salvaged?"

I could argue that while Mara was busy with Kyle, Ken was left with Karrde and his crew for the time.

Kenth Hamner was a Corellian who served as a colonel in the New Republic before he trained as a Jedi. That would mean he might be about Luke's age.

 

Yeah, that makes sense, and just picturing Karrde and Ken interacting with each other makes it worth a short story lol.

I think the books make it very clear that Kenth Hammer's personality is deeply rooted in his Corellian/Military upbringing, as it is noted in the text where every one of his mannerisms come from, and yeah he is around Luke's age, so it is very clear he is canonically not Ken, unless you want to argue that after Jedi Prince he spent a lot of years on Corellia and on the Army that made him that way (and it wouldn't fix the age discrepancy) still, the idea of the grandson of Palpatine changing his name to something completely new makes total sense, as in, he forges a new identity.

 

Ken was 100% assassinated off screen by Lumiya.
