    So I put it my Blu-Ray in and it wouldn't play. :(

    But I'm watching it on on-demand! Not the best way to start this watch along but you have to adapt! :p

    It's aged spectacularly well. One of my favorite shots of the saga is Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon looking out of the window at Naboo. The planet is framed so beautifully.

    It arguably has the best visual effects of the entire PT, if you focus on how well they've held up. Where AOTC and ROTS focus on entirely CG backgrounds, TPM has a nice blend of practical and visual effects.

    And, even though I dislike the character, Jar Jar is an impressive feat of CGI. At the very least, he does look like he exists alongside the real people.

    Also, WHERE ARE THOSE DROID-D-KAAAHZ

    One criticism I do have for the film is the Queen/Padme switcheroo. It's an unnecessary mystery and kind of confuses things. They should have just made it clear that the Queen was hiding as a handmaiden and had Knightly play the imposter Queen through the whole thing.

    That's right, probably 33 episodes of Resistance by December '19, and another season of TCW, but I don't know if The Mandalorian will be complete by then. How about a little Machete Order, but instead of AOTC and ROTS, insert TCW's missing content? Also, I'm taking a wild guess that Resistance season one builds up to TFA+TLJ.     The only reason I like Maul is because of The Clone Wars and Rebels. I honestly don't understand how people got so attached to him in this movie.

    I absolutely adore the Senate scene. The way Palpatine subtly manipulates Amidala in to doing exactly what he wants her to do. It's so brilliant.

    One thing I don't get: Padme leaves Palpatine's office determined to return to Naboo. Presumably she would go straight to her ship but instead she takes the time to change again? [face_dunno]:p
