    I reckon.

Great stuff by Collingwood. I got back home in time to watch the last about 6 overs. After Flintoff got out it made it more exciting, but they steered it home well. That's three in a row for them now. At least it makes for a better finals. I still heavily doubt that Australia will lose the Commonwealth Bank Series, though. I'll bet my icon and colours for a day on that if anybody wants to. As you can see, I've suffered one of those already. ;) :p

It is obvious that despite events in the Ashes series, England are better than Australia. :p

I suggest awarding Knighthoods to all the players.

Yeah, a bit arrogant. But I guess they need a break - hope they don't lose any form during the standdown. :p

Now 4/156. Collingwood is still in there though, as is Flintoff. It was a good start, but it's looking much better for Australia now. :D

    I lol'd.

    0.44 second reaction time = =D=

Falling apart here, are England. Australia's fielding has been superb.

McGrath = champ. Absolute champion. Before the last ball of the innings, everybody in the entire stadium was up on their feet standing. And he got a wicket.

8/246 England. Looks to be a good chase. :D

Lots of rain, down to 41 overs but we're still chasing 227. 4/63...hopefully Hodge can repeat his 99 not out form and lead us to victory.

And now Hussey's out. Jeez, at this rate we're going down 2-0.

I think this is a tactic to make England think their team is good for the World Cup, only for them to be destroyed. :p

Just turned it on for an update. LOL.

Looks like the trophy's heading north!

(though I've seen enough cricket in my time to know not to write off Australia until the last ball's bowled)

Rain's gone. The Duckworth-Lewis system is ridiculous....England score 246, we lose 17 OVERS to rain, and what is the target? 211. That makes no sense at all.

Congratulations England. I'll grant you these (<<<) for a day.

Australia have a few concerns, where at the start of this tri-series they had none. Gilchrists form, the loss of Symonds, the spin bowling option.

I'll grant you nothing you you you England you!! [face_frustrated]

    :p :p

AGREED. I complained about the exact same thing when I saw it. It's a real pity Lee and Bracken didn't get a chance to show their stuff. It would have been more satisfying for both sides if it had actually ended, rather than get washed out.

That said, well done England. No one saw it coming, including yourself. Congrats, and please stay in form so the next Ashes isn't a total whitewash? :)
