Hi I found this thread and am excited! I have mixed feelings on the work since I discovered it last year. Earth in SW? And I wish Bongiorno would restore the original versions he wrote back in '08 and '01 and all, not adding the Pius Dei and World Between Worlds too it (at least he follows the one Canon instead of them both being "parallel universes".)

 

I believe the "Star Wars humans came from a portal to real-world Earth" this is a scrapped bit of backstory from something else, not originating here.

 

I think it was Alien Exodus, a book that was going to tie together several of Lucas' films - the descendants of American Graffiti characters flee the future of THX-1138 and end up enslaved by Hutt ancestors in the GFFA.

 

It was indeed Alien Exodus. The WEG RPG sourcebooks said that the Hutts were originallyf from a planet called Varl, so the Hutt’s ancestors in Alien Exodus are called Vaarlians.

Joe's a nice guy-I've contacted him before, and we've talked about fan films and he gladly advertised by blog on his site (I'm "Jedi Sabacc")-but I think SE is just too un-Star Warsy. I love CE, though; it helped me reevaluate the Marvel SW stuff, which I forever just thought of as trite.

 

SE is Star Wars meets Lovecraft meets the Silmarillion meets the Divine Comedy - so both Star Warsy and not, "depending greatly on your own point of view."

So? One Canon merges it together. His stuff is One Canon.

 

I honestly think all the editing he did has made the story far better than it could've ever been, so I don't mind. And I believe it wasn't even written until 2007, in 2001 it was just an idea that went unmade.

 

I'm still not getting this criticism cause Pius dea is also Disney canon Drydan and then Qi'ra had contispex 1's ashes in their artifact collection in solo then crimson reign

 

Between Abeloth’s eyes that look like stars and her being “The Beloved Queen of the Stars”, I have trouble believing that nobody involved in FOTJ had any knowledge of Cult or Supernatural Encounters.

If I were made dictator of all things Star Wars, the first thing I would do is demand early access to Supernatural Encounters Sith Edition and the second thing I would do is make movies and Disney+ series based on and tying in to it.

 

One cool thing thats connected to how SE incorporates the aliens/ engineers and yatuja . The New expansion for Aliens Fireteam was announced and in the trailer we get some more looks at engineer runs and some of the floor carvings look ripped off from fallen order Zeffo assets even know different Game studios
