On their twitter page today that GG will annouce their exclusives { meaning more than one} will be announced at the preview of the SDCC on Wed of next week. With all the mini bust they have made but haven't release, I'm sure they can easily make a exclusive to C5 by just releasing only there and slapping a sticker that says C5 exclusive.

Exclusive Art of Ralph McQuarrie 10x20" Metallix Prints

    http://www.starwars.com/fans/event_news/cv_mcquarrie_exhibit/index.html

For those looking to take a piece of the exhibit home with them, there's a 48 page souvenir guide containing all of the art on display. And to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Empires Strikes Back, 12 of McQuarrie's production paintings have been reproduced as 10- by 20-inch Metallix prints, limited to 80 of each print. Sharp-eyed McQuarrie aficionados may notice that four of the Metallix prints (albeit without the cool Metallix finish) were included in Ballantine's 1980 set of portfolio prints -- the remaining eight, however, are new to this format! Some of the prints will be available signed by McQuarrie and all of them will be numbered.

Are you sure that 2-1B is a CV exclusive? They didn't tag it that way on Twitter.

Overall, I'm unimpressed with what they chose for the CV exclusives. As I expected, they sent the cooler item (the McQuarrie Vader bust) to SDCC. Pretty disappointed about that since I'll have to pay extra to try to snag one on eBay later this year.

Gentle Giant just confirmed to me on Twitter about 2-1B. NOT a CV exclusive (won't even be ready in time):

"That is correct. 2-1B was supposed to be it, but wasn't ready in time due to manufacturing issues."

I think GG made a poor decision to go with no busts for CV. Vader should have been for CV.

It is pretty sweet, yes. But seems odd to not have a bust from them for the show. That's what I've been collecting since my first one at CIII. One could say that I'm a bust man. [face_laugh]

I may still see if I can get that Bossk though.

Bummer about the 2-1B mini bust not being a CV exclusive. But I wasn't thrilled with having him chosen as the possible exclusive anyway, so no big loss for me.

But I am gonna be all over the 12" Vintage Jumbo Fett figure. Extremely nostalgic to say the least.

I didn't realize at first that the jumbo Fett comes carded. That alone makes it worth trying to get. Nice touch.

So far not really interested, but I have ordered the Han/Leia t-shirts. I went with the "couple" set, but only because I couldn't decide on which one I wanted.

Things I kept shown in my post are things I'm either interested in buying, or in some case, just wanted to comment on.

    Celebration V Show Store
    Bags
    - Celebration V Large Reusable Shopping Sack. $15. - I'd be a fool not to get this first thing. The CIV one was invaluable during the con.

    Clothing/Apparel
    - Adult Darth Gator T-Shirt. $25. - I have my reservations, but I'll consider once I've seen the design.
    - Darth Vader Aloha Shirt. $80. - Er....what? $80....for a shirt....? No thanks.
    - Darth Vader Chest Light-Up Shirt with Batteries. $45. - Seems rather tacky to me.
    - Darth Vader Deluxe Sith Lord Shirt. $30. - Quite possibly warrants a purchase.
    - Endless Celebration T-Shirt. $30. - Maybe I'll get one after I see the design.
    - Men's Boba Fett Jet Ski T-Shirt. $25. - view - Still been pondering over whether I should get this.
    - Men's Yoda Dagobah T-Shirt. $25. - Maybe, depending on the design.
    - Tauntaun Logo Polo Shirt. $40. - Almost definitely. I love me my polos.
    - Ugnaught Baby Bodysuit & Bib. $15. - These seems rather degrading.

    Collectibles
    - Celebration V Badge Set. $60. - At that price, probably not, although it's certainly tempting....I'll think about it.
    - Celebration V Lanyard. $5. - I don't understand? Do we have to buy our own lanyards? I hope not. More likely it's just for the badge sets.
    - Hallmark Exclusive Yoda Ornament. $12. - Probably. I already have two or three Star Wars ornaments. Why not another?:p

    Drinkware
    - Celebration V Aluminum Water Bottle. $15. - Possibly. I've been meaning to get one anyway.

    Giftware/Novelty
    - Aurebesh "May the Force Be With You" Dog Tag. $8. - Seems interesting. I might get this one or the other dog tag, but not both. I'll decide once I see them.
    - Bespin Mining Company Office Kit. $30. - Almost definitely not. I will check to see what it includes though.
    - Boba Fett Magnet. $4. - I'm surely going to pick up at least one magnet. Not sure which one(s) though.
    - Bounty Hunter Laser Etched Dog Tag. $8.
    - Button Set. $8. - Er...maybe? Seems a bit frivolous to me.
    - Celebration V "postcard" Beach Towel. $25. - Possibly, just because I already need one.
    - Celebration V Logo Rain Poncho. $6. - No, on account of it'll probably be a cheap, highly disposable piece of junk.
    - Imperial Symbol Laser-Cut Keychain. $10. - Now THAT'S tempting. We'll see.
    - O Lando! Magnet. $4.
    - Rebel Symbol Laser-Cut Keychain. $10. - Maybe I'll even get both.
    - Star Wars Phrase Magnet Set. $15. - We'll see, once the phrases are revealed.

    Prints/Posters/Signs
    - Boba Fett Celebration V Poster - Russell Walks. Limited to 2,000. $10. - Of course I'm going to need this. I'm not up for coughing up $60 for some fancy lithograph I'm not really interested in anyway.

    - Hoth Blue Milk Brewing Company Retro Tin Sign. $20. - Now that's clever. Maybe.
    - "O Lando" Celebration V Poster - Randy Martinez. $10. - Er...possibly? Probably not, though.
    - Official Celebration V Program Book with Randy Martinez cover. $16. - view - Naturally I'm picking one up first thing.
    - Poster Tube. $15. - Yes, of course. I'll need it.
    - Vader's Fist Orange Juice Retro Tin Sign. $20. - Er...what? We'll see which sign I like better, if I get one at all.

Projected Expenditure: Around $120, with the polo probably being the biggest purchase. That's around the minimum, though....

I saw that Disney posted some of their things that they will have on sale both at the con and at the park during Last Tour to Endor.

    Disney Merchandise

I think only the Star Speeder 1000 and Donald Duck as Shadow Trooper will be on sale at CV.

The "Endless Celebration" t-shirt sounds very interesting.

And I'm really glad to see another zip-up hoodie to add to my two green Yoda hoodies from CIII. The black-on-black logo pullover sweatshirt for CIV was an epic fail.

I'd actually rather a non-zip hoodie, personally. The one I got at CIII is still my most-worn sweatshirt. The funny thing is I may not have actually bought it if I hadn't packed poorly for the cold rain and snow that week. I lived in it in Indy.
