    I liked it.
    Although it is quite long.

It tried something new, which was good. Bond was falwed rather then perfect.

I thought the villain could perhaps have been better, and there was no major traditional henchman.

But besides that I think it worked well.

    JAMES BOND IS BACK!!!!

    OMG...it was FANTASTIC!!!

I saw it twice today and still crave more!

FAR more enjoyable that I was expecting, and a real ride with a superb storyline! DANIEL CRAIG IS THE BEST BOND EVER! I was hooked on everything, from the opening title sequence (which was super!) and the poker game which was far far far better than I was led to believe!

AGGHGHGHGG there is just too much to praise!!

I hope everyone out there loved the return of 007 as much as I did, and pray for him to return soon!!!!

I was never a fan of Daniel Craig when he was announced as Bond but I didn?t sign the petition I decided to wait and see the movie then the trailers came out and Craig looked good in action and I was optimistic and I sat down today to watch Casino Royale and the start was great with all the action and I was mildly happy with Craig as Bond then the poker game started and it hit me like a bullet from Walter PPK all the things that have been said like he doesn't look like the past Bond's he has blond hair and he has a craggy face that just washed away and he was simple JAMES BOND I can't wait it see it a second time this Sunday I'll be able to better evaluate the movie but for now I?ll quote Daniel Craig and say....

    THE NAMES BOND, JAMES BOND

I thought it was very good, I wouldn't go as far as saying Daniel is the best Bond after one film though! I still like Moore, Brosnan and Connery better, although Daniel was great of course. I agree with Richie - it was very long.

That place they were in the second half of the film was just like Padme's retreat in AOTC, it had the same looking hills, lakes and even the red flowers!

I just feel I enjoyed it more than some of the Moore and all the Brosnan films because it was more gritty, and far more real! He hurt, he was a man and wasn't stinking of cheese all the time.

I enjoyed it more the second time today and was ready to take it all in, and I just can't wait to see it again!

    *puts Happy Fanboy hat on*

Yep, gone was the cheese and the gadgets, and that made it feel a totally different film than any Bond's in the last decade.

I also enjoyed the credits, it was great eye candy (good song too, I thought, but the critics seem to hate it), and it was great how the usual Bond shooting at camera thing was used to start the credits (you'll get what I mean if you've seen it) instead of at the very start of the film. Some of the one liners were classic and I loved the bad guy's face when Bond returned to the table when he should have been dead!

For someone who's scared of heights, as I am, that crane fight up on the big screen made me feel a little uneasy! But it was an awesome scene, and that bad guy was like a frog the way he was leaping around!

Yeah, it was amazing to watch the Madagascar chase, really good stuff and what makes it better and more enjoyable is that it was all done with real people, all stuntwork and true grit!

Plus I second Le Chiffre as a magnifiscent badguy, he had the looks and the physicality to do it really well.

Just got back......OH SWEET FELIX, THAT WAS AWSOME!!!

Hooked from beginning to end, the poker game was so tense at some points it was better than some action scenes lol

Daniel Craig is SUPURB!!!!!! The one liners where funny, but not cheesy. The action was brutal but still stylish enough for bond. The song is awsome, i've been playing it all the time recently lol The torture scene was cringe worthy (in a good way) but also hilarious (also in a good way)
A few twists and turns along the way aswell, some i saw coming, others i didnt.

And one more thing.....EVA GREEN = =P~[face_love] :* (especially in the scene where she is in the bathroom getting ready, she just glows in that scene)

    Great Casino Royale News

Casino Royale shook up the U.K. box office during its first day of release on Thursday, earning more than any other film in the James Bond franchise, reports Reuters.

The 21st 007 instalment, which marks the debut of Daniel Craig, sold 1.7 million pounds ($3.2 million) worth of tickets, a 54 percent increase over comparable sales for the previous Bond film and first-day record-holder, 2002's Die Another Day.

In all, two-thirds of all movie tickets sold in Britain were for Casino Royale.

I've just been watching a show on Channel 4 about the most popular Bond themes.

It had the top 22 as voted for by people.

    The winner was.....

    GOLDFINGER!

Predictable that might have been, but the show was interesting. It gave insight into people who were originally interested and were rejected, or those who turned it down (Frank Sinatra  )

More good news on the Bond front.

As well as staring in a major kick ass cool Bond film, they will be doing a quick turn around (like the good ol' days) and releasing the next Bond in 2 years time.

None of this 3 year rubbish between movies. I want more Bond and I want it now!!!!

    Some great lines.

"Sorry I was so long, that last hand almost killed me"

"The world is going to know you died scratching my balls!"

"Who are you!!" "Bond. James Bond". Probably the best Bond, James Bond ever!

James Bond will return in.... ?

Any ideas if the next movie will be one of the books (remade again) or a new story?
