As far as I can tell you should be able to get your Season 2 as an import. When you say "distributors," what have you tried?

I tried several stores who had contact with varied shipping agencies Kerry, problem is that they have these delays. Kid Rhino is the company that releases them, and they through those channels you know so well.

What's getting my goat is that everytime they state a release date, they change it last minute, like their trying to tie it in with the release of a hot Sci-Fi product.

Episode 2, Dvd is a good example...

 

LOL! If you only knew! Everyone PLEASE believe me when I say that indies rarely move release dates to coordinate with Episode 2 or anything else. If anything, a release date would be moved to *avoid* a strong title. This is in the consumer's best interest anyway. If you street something the same day as LOTR, the stores buy dollars/display space/advertising are going to be spoken for.

I'll tell you something: shipping/street date delays/changes are 99.9% of the time due to internal problems with authoring, packaging, etc. I know you guys all think that we just gather up the elements and then sit back and eat chips and file our nails, but it's not that simple. We're struggling just to get this stuff out - I dream of having the luxury of moving my releases around to capitalize on other titles!

Now please excuse me while I go bang my head on my desk over corrupted deleted scene files!

Sorry about my rant, but I read a lot of complaints on the internet (not normally on this site) and hear a lot from people. I find that kind of frustrating because these "armchair DVD producers" often don't know the full story of why something was or wasn't done. This has been building up for a while, so don't take it personally, Darth Digital. Thank you and end of rant.

Remember,

Transformers Season 2 PART 1. Has already been released.

And Transformers Season 1. Was released last summer, as I recall you brought that to my attention.

Some people are confusing that.

TRANSFORMERS SEASON 2, PART 2, with the last 24 episodes from that season.

Season 2 was the largest of the three seasons cause it was the peak of its popularity.

 

The Sound System at Wil's place will be over loaded if he picks up all those DVDs...
