I guess I'll start this off by saying I suck at shading stuff, but at least I try, so I'll post firstly, Gilad Pellaeon, my entry for the EU challenge:



I've got a picture of Galen Marek I drew for art class that I'll post here whenever I get it back from the teacher.

 

New stuff: A couple doodles of an OC of mine, I wanted him to have a more feminine build, and I think I accomplished that, though the arms are too small, IMO. This is also my first attempt at shading anything on an electronic device, and I'm not disappointed in my work there.


He's got a bandaged torso kind of thing going on there, and he's got a little vest with an attached hood, since he's on the run, he keeps his lightsabers in their separate pieces and hidden within the wrap when he's not using them.

Also, in the corner there, I just drew a standard, Ukendt-grade helmet again, pay no heed.

 

I drew a Twi'lek!

I edited Ioko (that's his name) to add shading.

 

This was the first time I've ever gotten a request, a friend of mine asked me to draw them as a female Twi'lek.


And then I tried coloring the picture.


And then I tried shading the coloured picture.

You've got some nice pieces developing. I do like the baton saber design for your OC.

Which program are you using for your digital pieces?

 

Thanks, It's the only saber design that I've found to fit the character in three or so years...yeah, I've been working on his design a while.

I'm using the paintbrush app for MacBooks.

How are you finding Paintbrush?

 

It's easier than paper in the terms that I can colour projects simply and quickly, I don't have to buy any supplies, and that I can work on them while on the bus.

Ooh, I've had this done for a while now, just keep forgetting to post it:

Caedus, one of nearly a baker's dozen children who woke up one day alone on a planet with no memory of their pasts, Caedus gained his name due to the fact that it was the only name he remembered that he liked, he was nicknamed Cade by one of the other children on the planet and eventually, a small group of Jedi found the planet and took them off-world, Cade was around ten at the time. He found a planet that seemed like home, and stayed there for a while, until both the empire of the time and the rebellion of sith attacked, pillaged, and destroyed the world due to its reluctance to join either side. He was attacked by a Sith, whom he slayed, though he would forever be blind in the eye struck by the sith. Cade joined the rebellion of Jedi, seeing as they were the only side in this war with compassion enough to weep over the loss of lives, and so, he adopted the name of Cadus. When he was nearly twenty, he brought attention to the Jedi council of the fact that to fight both opposing sides in the war more effectively, they would need to send in a spy, the Council consulted one another, and agreed, and sent him in under the cover of a bounty hunter to best infiltrate both opposing sides, leaking information about the enemies of the jedi anonymously, as a bounty hunter, he decided to go by Kaidus, though if ever he ran into one of his childhood friends, they would recognize him only as Cade.

Fun fact: This is my first time shading in such a manner, as well as one of the first sunrises/sunsets I've ever drawn, the others being with pastels. I also took a couple pictures of myself from behind in order to get some stuff right.
