Mini Series Darth Vader in Kenobi Series

    Great no one also beats Ewan McGregor but do I really care when Stanton or JAT play him? No not really. I couldn’t care less about who plays the character so long as they sound sorta similar. So this is a dead end argument. I don’t care who plays Vader. Sure so long as JEJ is down to do it get him to do it. If not that doesn’t mean I don’t want to ever see the character again.

    Vader will live on well past JEJ. There are almost 10 billion people in this world. I’m sure one of them can do a really good Vader voice...

    I actually do a great Vader impression. :vader: I am your father.

    See? I could totally replace JEJ when the time comes. :p

    Seriously though I had an idea how they could do a scene or two with Kenobi and Vader while preserving their confrontation in ANH as the first time they’re together since ROTS. They could communicate with each other the same way Kylo and Rey do in TLJ. You could have Obi-Wan trying to convince him to return to the light side which would make the line in ROTJ make a bit more sense. Obviously they aren’t a Dyad but they do have a strong connection with each other as former master and apprentice.

    I have heard various qualities of Vader voices. some don't sound that great, only a few really sound just about spot on.

    Look, one of my favorite Vader appearances is in Rogue One and James Earl Jones doesn't even sound like James Earl Jones in it. We'll be ok.

    Cool to see Vader again but confused on how it will work. After and Obi Wan can’t meet until a new hope so I’m assuming he will only appear in flashbacks or visions.

    To have Anakin/Vader is to have a dark shadow cast across Obi-Wan, he has the guilt of what happened to his "brother" Jedi. You can only have so much dialogue about a character before they have to appear, even if it's just give the audience some sense of what Obi-Wan is seeing in his mind. The bonus is having HC portraying Anakin and giving the audience an anchor point with him probably appearing in heavy make up, we're going to get to experience just what he thinks and feels even 10 years after Mustafar.

    As overjoyed as I am for Hayden, I confess that I always preferred Vader and Kenobi to never cross paths between ROTS and ANH.

    I'm more interested in Vader than I am in a Kenobi show. Outside getting more Vader this tells us the series won't spend the whole time on Tatooine.

    Thank god for that.

    Insanely happy for Hayden, but also kinda worried that they may go too far. On a side note, hope that this little show will bring him back to the "main league".
