I feel bad for Dave.

 

That was a very vague article . . . which makes me wonder about its accuracy.

 

It's also a pretty old article - over 3 years old. And I believe it was brought up a few times before.

 

If it's true then that's just wrong and I feel sorry for Dave.

 

I think it might have been leaking info, that was the "annoyance".

I believe that was brought up in The Making Of RoTJ book.

It probably is because Prowse just can't fake enthusiasm for the prequels. I'm sure that every EU author has to "kiss the ring", lol.

 

Why am I not surprised?

 

I've heard the stories and I still feel bad for Dave. A bit surprised it's being raised again now, though.

 

Fake it ... He's been very vocal over the criticism of it. I don't think it has anything to do with that, apparently he was hard to work with, and there was suppose tension in ROTJ, Bob Anderson replaced him him and did all the throne room scenes.

 

David Prowse stole my shorts from the bus. He is barred for LIFE!

I'm sure his grievances are all true from his point of view, but there are two sides to any story- including claims that he's not the easiest to get along with. LFL is a private company (or was at the time of this publication) and has no obligation to allow anyone to participate in official functions- especially if that individual is known to badmouth the company.

Not saying it's right. It's a damn shame.

 

I had dinner with him at a convention once. He was an exceptionally nice guy. Couldn't do enough for fans.
