That's terrible news. The Wire, Fringe, John Wick, the Horizon games, Destiny 2.

I honestly associate him with so many things but mostly with Destiny 2 because I play it and literally hear his voice every day. He was also an avid Destiny player himself... The game is a year away from its final chapter and to not have Lance with us for it is devastating.

I'm crying.

 

Did not have Zavala on my bingo card for this year.

So many games will never be the same.

 

Lance Reddick was an amazing actor. I am shocked. Can't believe it. Sixty is way too soon to die.

 

One of his roles I remember was as the CEO in a short-lived comedy called Corporate. I'm pretty sure I was one of a dozen people who watched it.

 

Guy looked ******* amazing for sixty as well. Watching him on screen, a person might easily peg him ten years younger. He had such vitality.

 

He didn't attend the premiere of John Wick 4 a few days ago. Not sure if he was sick or what.. but I'm still crying.

 

I'd have pegged Reddick as in his fourties, he looked that young. Sad day.

Also dying a few days ago, author John Jakes of North and South fame at age 90

 

No one delivered the name “Dunham” with such intensity as Lance did in Fringe.

 

Literally yesterday I said to someone that Lance Reddick is one of the most charismatic actors around. As everyone says, he always looked in fantastic shape. This is a shock.

 

He really did make any tv show or movie he appeared in better. I liked every role I saw him portray. He could make a good movie excellent. And I think it’s even higher praise that his presence could elevate a so-so movie or tv episode to become very enjoyable to watch.

This is sad news. I feel for his family and friends that are effected on a personal level. For movie goers and tv audiences there are 20+ years of great performances we’ll never get to experience.

Oh man... That is wonderful. Glad Keanu got to have the opportunity to see Lance for his bday.

Destiny players are all paying tribute by kneeling near Lance's character in the game..it really won't be the same without him.

 

Lance Reddick was in White House Down, which was basically the PG-13 version of Olympus Has Fallen. He played a general, who took a verbal shot at the Secret Service leadership.

In Angel Has Fallen, the 3rd in the "Has Fallen" (2nd sequel to Olympus Has Fallen), he played...the head of the Secret Service.

Forgot he was in LOST. Loved him in The Wire. He will be missed.
