Amph Deadpool, the (Golden Globe-nominated) Movies!

I left my review on the movie in the "Last movie you saw" thread; but I did want to talk about the character of Yukio. I was disappointed that they essentially made fun of an otherwise good character from the "Wolverine" film. She was nothing more than a stereotype in Deadpool 2. I had liked her character in The Wolverine a lot; and had hoped she'd have some kind of a return in a future X-Men Movie.

 

Me either as the DP2 version seems much younger.

 

When Logan resets the timeline in Days of Future Past, he ends up changing Yukio's age and actress altogether. You know, similar to what happened to Jennifer when Marty went back in time.

Got a PG rating in Ontario. not 14A (which is usually what R-rated fare gets) or 18A (which is what both Deadpool movies got) but PG!

Not Recommended for Young Children, Violence, Tobacco Use, Language May Offend

 

I heard in that Once Upon a Deadpool still received an equivalent of an R-Rating in the UK. So, it's doesn't appear to be drastically changed. I saw one of my local theaters is showing on discount Tuesday, which mean it's only $5 for the evening showing. I'm considering on watching it.

 

I'm hoping for some blatant censorship and Deadpool making a quip about it.

 

Or Deadpool saying, "Thanos wiped out half of our jokes."

 

Or if it's something like the TV show The Good Place where no matter how hard Deadpool tries to use fowl language he can't.

oooooh, will the post credit scenes be the same in Once Upon A Deadpool? Will they tag them into Deadpool's story to Fred proper? Like it'd be weird if they wrap up the Fred story framing device and then have the same post credit scenes?

I know it's only 20 minutes but I'm sort of fascinated how this'll turn out editorially at least cuz I've seen Deadpool 2 a lot already. Although, personally I wish they had done something crazy like Deadpool and Deadpool 2 in a single shot, 30 min for each, 30 min of Fred, 90 minutes total.
