Challenge ~ Dear Diary Challenge 2009 ~ Challenge Finished: WINNER ANNOUNCED!!!

The index has been updated once more.

I was wondering, how many of you are planning to incorporate the mini-challenges into your diaries? Do you like the mini's to be one word with no real explanation and plenty of room for interpretation, or would you like something more specific?

 

Not planning on it, and never have, since my stories are already planned out and usually can't fit them in. For me, it's enough to just get through the big challenge

 

Well, I've already incorporated this first challenge into the next chapter, but if I can't find a way for the mini challenge doesn't fit my story, I won't use it. Sith Lord's make all sorts of resolutions...

I think the one words are interesting, but I'll only be able to use some of them I'm sure - and 8 year old doesn't make 'resolutions' after all, and though she'll grow up over the year, we'll have to see what happens!

I must admit I was inspired by the line in the first post about doing a droid's diary. Well, here it is! I've never tried this Diary thing before. Quite challenging.

 

Since I plan to have only two updates a month, I am not sure if I can get any of the mini-challenges incorporated. But this is the first time I start out with something kinda planned already, so I don't have much leeway.

I'm not sure if I will use the mini's or not. I'm trying to stay at least a month ahead so if DRL decides to rear its ugly head I'll be okay. But if I get stuck or behind I'll definitly use some of them.

I enjoy both specific and one word prompts. One word prompts are fun to see how different people interpret them, but more specific ones give more of a challenge. I guess it just depends on what mood I'm in.

Good grief - I have 13 entries 'in the bag' so to speak, and little Pem is slowly growing up!

 

I really didn't want to commit myself to more than one diary, but when we were told we could do non-SW a bunny bit. I tried to beat the bunny back, I really did, but when I started having dreams about it I knew there was no stopping it.

However, my SW diary will take precedence.

I have updated the index again, and am delighted that it keeps growing. I just pray none of the diaries will have an untimely death... though that would be quite a reading load when it comes to voting for your favorite at the end of the year!

There are currently three diaries in NSWFF, and I'm so glad to see thehm there! Thank you very much Alexis for allowing them to come to us. It's really cool!
