I missed you all too Jamie. Seriously! You can ask Anne. I was sulking about all day Saturday, wishing I was there and reminiscing of years gone by. Like Ben said, it was the first one I missed.. and it hurt! :-(
Due to both financial and work (annual leave) restrictions, it was either this or Tim & Sharon's wedding in October... and obviously couldn't miss the latter.

When are you and Theresa flying over to New York by the way?

well,theresa is in and out of new jersey from one week to the next at the moment...
we aren't going to new york for a while together,but we are heading to las vegas (baby!) in november for a couple of weeks!
but we are certainly up for a trip over there at any time really,should the situation arise.

It NY is like where I am, hot. Today hit 36C before humidity (47C with humidity) not sure if NY gets humid or dry heat though.

 

Are you hot and sweaty and sticky all day? That's humidty for you.

If your sweat evaporates from you pretty easily, then that's a dry heat.

It's mostly a dry heat in summer in Perth.

 

I'm guessing they probably get humidt heat as really NY isn't too far from us really (in comparison to other places) and without a doubt ours is definately humid!

Top it off, we got a tornado minutes down the road from us

 

Btw Jamie, why was it called the 'Delta Source' London Park Meet. I'd sue you for breach of copyright for stealing the name of my fanzine That's of course, if Lucas hadn't already owned the copyright in the first place

I showed the pics to the Galaxy at War people on the Role Playing Forum - I had tried to get them along - and I had to keep telling people "I came later, so I'm not in there."

 

The pics are great, especially the one of Ben lol Damn, I so miss these events. Next year, I will be there come rain or shine
