"Eww, no, not the colored ones - the pale ones! Lyn Me! I can't stand all the blue and red Twi'leks. Worst invention ever."

I see your point. I don't mind to much but
maybe it is overdone. I still like the blue ones though. :)

    Anyone else comming to C3?

Anyway, here is some of what I listen to...

    AC/DC
    The Darkness
    Led Zeppelin
    The Ramones
    The Offspring
    Rammstein
    Bruce Springsteen
    Weird Al
    Star Wars soundtrack
    LOTR soundtrack

Don't like The Offspring or Rammstein heh. Oh well.
Actually I don't have either of their CDs.
I just like a couple of there songs. Also keep in mind Rammstein
is in German and so I don't understand all the words. :p

Weird Al is cool, I have a DvD of some of his videos. Funny stuff. :)
He has a couple star wars songs too. I love his Yoda song.

What do like, rock, country, rap?

Mostly I listen to the radio and only sometimes to CDs. :)

One time I was on a concert. It was from "Nena". She is a german singer. The concert was ok. It was pity that she only plays all of her old songs in a self-covered new version, which are more or less unknown. Only some few (too less IMO) old songs were played.

    Do you know "Nena"? :)

I like rock mostly, but I'm always open
to other music. And by film music, you
    mean like soundtracks? Thats cool,
especially since you want to be a director.

And no I don't know Nena. I'll see what I can find. :)

Never underestimate the power of rock,
    Pete :)

yay! ^_^ i understood the first paragraph of the first post in this thread, hehe. i am taking german 1 right now, but have a lot of trouble with it. i am good with pronounciation, but not so much with remembering all of the words and how to put them together properly.

anyhow, umm, yeah i don't really have anything to say in german, heh.

If you are searching for anything about Nena, try to find some of her old songs. Her newer ones are not so good. :( Only a few are really nice. :)

If you can't find anything, let me know, I'll help you. :)

    Welcome Iwakura! :)

As Jule said, if you want, try to write in german. :)

oh wow, the GSFF is the nicest! guten abend! wie geht es dir? :)

and hello twilek jedi, i think i've talked to you on a couple of different occasions, hehe. ^_^

i can't really think of anything to say at the moment. how about this: i tried to say something in german in a testimonial for my friend, but i know i messed it up (i left out a word, but didn't realize it until i hit submit, oops!) i was trying to say "beth is my older sister. she will teach me about psychology." so, here's my try at saying that: beth ist meine ältere schwester. sie wird mich lehren psychologie.

not too sure on my word order there.

thanks for the welcome everyone. tschüs! ~_^

    Starfish, try www.amazon.de.
There you can find some of her old songs and some of her self-covered songs.
(Scroll a bit and you find that you can test the songs.)

I like from her old ones 99 Luftballons, Nur Geträumt and Irgendwie, Irgendwo, Irgendwann.
And from her new ones: Anyplace, anywhere, anytime (but this time it is in english ;) )

If you want to liten to 99 Luftballons, watch the movie "Grosse pointe blank" with John Cusack.
(The scene where he's at the class reunion, killed that one guy, wraps him up in one of the posters and carries him downstairs.)
