Entry 14
Today I went with Alwin to the small town of Alladea to get supplies from the spaceport.

Alladea has a spaceport and it is not as hectic as the one in the capital. The Jeditemple sends regularly transports to their agristations and most land near the agristations but the transport Cas was expecting would be landing at Alladea spaceport.

It was a red and white Jedi transport and was carrying droids and some technical supplies. One of those supplies was at my request and it is for Alwin. And the other package is for me.

When we returned to the agristation we unpacked the two items and the Alwins face lighted up: a training lightsaber and for me one as well.

They are training-lightsabers; because the fully working sabers can only be constructed after mastering of making the components and travelling to Ilum for a lightsaber-crystal that the Jedi-apprentice will see in his quest.

I am teaching him the ways of the Jedi and lightsaberpractice is part of that. As an initiate he had those in the Jeditemple but I have a feeling that it can become handy for him if he continues the practice.

 

Cool Alwin is learning more Lightsaber tactics, Strong he will be....

He uses those skills but that's after he has met other Jedi. In my diary of a firefighter and diary of an exile those stories were told in 2007.

Entry 15

A week ago we went to Alladea for the fair and some fun.
The Alladea firedepartment was giving a show and Alwin saw that and became enthralled by it.

Seeing this Firechief Mick Robi asked us to come with him to the firestation and we saw all the equipment they are using.

Alwin was asking about everything and showed his great knowledge about many items.

Mick Robi was impressed and asked him if he liked to stay for an entire shift in the firehouse.

Alwin didn?t have to think twice about that and I returned to the agristation alone.

A day later a red firetruck came to our station and the first who exited it was Alwin.
And that got us a Caf-break with exiting stories from Alwin and the firefighters.

After that we showed them the station and Alwin gave a demonstration on Nazir.

 

Awwww...how nice of the Fire Chief to allow Alwin to stick around.

He probably had one of the best days of his life.

An early wake-up call from an arriving transport and by early I mean 3 in the morning and that?s before any activity like Nerf-milking is needed. Alwin was awake of course because he knew who was coming. Master Ekiway and he will take a new Nerf home for the Children?s farm. One of the old Nerfs had died and he wanted to replace her.
And it is Alwin?s birthday and I think Master Ekiway remembers that as well.
He did and Alwin got holovids and a beautiful multitool from him.
Alwin is 14 and looking younger than his age suggests.
We spent a nice time with master Ekiway telling us about the life in the Jeditemple and only the Separatist Movement is troubling me.
And the Senate is bickering as usual and the newest item on their agenda is the Militairy Creation act.

Entry 17for the may challenge

Something horrible happened more than a week ago. In the span of less than one hour I felt many of my friends becoming one with the Force. More members of the agristation had felt that too and Alwin was pale as snow. He said that Jedi had died.

In the evening we knew the reason why because I contacted Jika Bale.

On the distant planet of Geonosis war had broken loose between the CIS and the republic.
That was after 200 Jedi had gone there to rescue Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padme Amidala.

Obi-Wan had been on a mission to search for the assassin of Padme and had stumbled on first a Clone-factory on Kamino and after following the assassin on the Trade federation conspiring with other planetary leaders and a former Jedi Count Dooku to overthrow the republic.

Obi-Wan and Anakin were injured and in a transport towards the Jeditemple.
Jika Bale will keep us informed about the events happening.

Today he contacted me and told me that Obi-Wan was in the healer?s ward because he had neglected his wounds.

 

It's interesting seeing these events from an "outsider's" view.

Yes helping Anakin coming to terms with the loss of his arm and reporting to the council and helping his other friends. That's Obi-Wan, trying to avoid the healers.

Jika has sent me a message from Aaqu and it is about Obi-Wan?s stay in the healers ward.
He was again trying to avoid the healers and master Aaqu sensed his distress.

Seems Dooku had injured him more badly than he first thought.

Yeah Dooku.

He was Jinn?s master and I have never seen a more stern master.

Dooku. I don?t like that guy.

He had always that aura of I am the best Jedi there is. And he took Qui-Gon shortly after his 10th birthday

And what did he say when Jinn was ready for the trials that made him a knight?

This: Gui-Gon repeated it word for word when he met me shortly after his knighting ceremony.
"Your flaw is your need for connection to the living Force. Qui-Gon, the galaxy is crowded with beings. The Jedi Order is here to support you. Nevertheless you must carry the following knowledge in your heart. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable."

Betrayal huh, Dooku betrayed all Jedi by joining those seperatists.

My heart broke for poor Qui. The last thing he needed at his knighting ceremony was a lecture on his supposed flaws.

Entry 19

They have a name for this war that is splitting the galaxy apart.
Clone wars!
And why?

Most of the beings fighting in this war are clones. Living beings bred for one purpose; to fight and die. And who is gaining from producing those clones.

Yep, the Kaminoans.

Jika has sent me a holo of that planet and the clone factory.

Cold sterile environments and all stages could be seen from lump of cells to the training of the adult and only 10 year old clone.

No happy childhood for those humans.
Yeah humans, I see them as living humans.

And the clones opponents?
They are produced on Geonosis and other separatist worlds.
I have seen a holo taken by one of the clone-commando?s of Geonosis.

Hot steaming environments.
Also mass produced.

My thoughts about the clones were interrupted when Alwin came in and told me about an invitation to go to the Firedepartment on Alladea.

Yeah he has waited a long time for that but chief Mick Robi has agreed to teach him the first basic classes to become a firefighter. He will be gone for two days each week and that will last almost 6 months.

Entry 20

Life on Alderaan is just going as it was before the war. Only our ruler ? the kind Bail Organa ? is more away to Coruscant to discuss the events in the Senate. He is very nice and I know he dislikes that war as much as the Jedi.

Ordered by the supreme chancellor they are now becoming generals.

Generals, have you ever seen a Jedi as a general?

For thousands of years we served the galaxy to make it a nice place to live in.
We negotiated between warring factions and almost every time peace was the outcome.
Now with those clone wars there are two parties: the Confederacy of independent systems or CIS and the Republic.

Even Obi-Wan has become a general and he has been to Kamino and to Ohma-D?un a moon of Naboo where the Gungans had established a succesful colony and were living in peace with a group of miners.

I have seen the holo?s Jika Bale sent me of those Gungans.

Swampgas is the weapon of the CIS, a deadly and a biological treat.

Master Glaive, Zule Xiss, Obi-Wan and Anakin had been able to stop Durge and Asajj Ventress.

Naboo and countless other worlds were saved.
Zule Xiss and Obi-Wan ended up in the healer?s ward.

Master Glaive was killed.

War is dirty.
