    War is dirty

Indeed and unfortunately there is much more heartbreak to come.

Typical Obi-Wan would end up in the healers.

AzureAngel2 Yes, war is a dirty buisness!

Yes and in the comic that was the inspiration for this post you can see that. Obi-Wan covered in blisters and Zule missing an arm.
All thanks for reading and the next post is also referring to the comic Clone Wars volume 2

    Entry 21

Jika Bale has sent me more holo messages and I was reading them when Alwin came back from his visit to the firehouse. He told us many exiting stories about his training as a firefighter. He explained how to put out a little beginning fire with water and when not to use water at all.

Hearing that I gave him the message from Jika Bale and Alwin was laughing when he read it.

Master Nu and Obi-Wan were at it again. Her archive nemesis destroyed the mainframe computer of the archives with those silly commands. Snoring and that computer accepting that as a command; hilarious.

Alwin?s face became sad whe he read about the little husan of the temple that died of old age. She had been his friend too and like all initiates he had taken riding lessons on her.

Cas Hegrin said that one of the young husans of this year can be a gift to the Jeditemple in three years time when she has been trained. That got Alwin and Cas going to the stable selecting the young one.

I was reading the message about the mission to Queyta and was delighted when I read the first sentence that an anti-dote for the swamp-gas had been found. Reading further brought tears to my eyes. Four Jedi died during that mission and only Obi-Wan came back because Master Fay saved him giving her the last of her strength.

Alwin comforted me and gave a small smile when he saw that Obi-Wan was safe in the Jeditemple.

    Entry 22

Grr Jika Bale?s next message has reminded me of my own mishap from two years ago.
Now Obi-Wan was the target of a poison that renders the midiclorians inactive. Master Aaqu could help him with a sleeping trance, guiding his thoughts until Anakin came back with the antidote. I am glad he is recovered again.

Hey, this is funny. Jika has drafted more Jedi into his intelligence business. Siri and Garen have been to a Casino on Nar Shadda. Dagga the Hutt owns that place and I have seen that Hutt once during a mission. He is nasty and a pain in the posterior.

Geez Garen was disguised as Geddin the famous bard of Alderaan. Yeah he looks a bit like him.

Good that Obi-Wan couldn?t go on that mission. He would have been a bountyhunter with a shaved head because that was to be his alias. And many years ago I have heard Jika telling me about Obi-Wan?s adventure in the Corunda sector on Coruscant. That was real bad.

Jika had even included a song Garen had performed to a horde of fans going whacko after that. And yes it is nice and very fitting for these horrible Clone Wars

    There are no heroes
    There are no heroes
    Anymore

The world I knew is lost
    Darkness surrounds me

    Dark is the sky
    Dark is the world
    Dark is the galaxy

    There are no heroes
    There are no heroes
    Anymore

I hope the original Geddin will perform that song and when he does I plan to visit his concert here on Alderaan.

    VaderLVR64 Thanks

    AzureAngel2
    yes Thank you.

I have painted Obi-Wan with very short hair.(fanart boards)

All thanks again for reading and the next update has the 'heat' challenge.

    Entry 23

It is raining and I am thinking about the battle of Jabiim. Obi-Wan was with Anakin and more padawans on that planet fighting and he tried to save his troops. Now Obi-Wan is dead or lost. I don?t know. They haven?t found a body.

Jika Bale has told me all of this and he is fuming. Not that a Jedi Knight is displaying his emotions in public but he was when he contacted me.

As master of Jedi intelligence he cannot leave the Jeditemple because he has to direct his operations and those orders came from Palpatine. And that is a change in routine. Before the Clone wars Jika was allowed to leave the Jeditemple.

Jika had always a fighter standing ready in case he needed it.

Jika said ?even an investigation of that burned At-At isn?t allowed and I have seen Anakin Skywalker and Siri Tachi and they don?t believe Obi-Wan is dead either.?

Alwin heard the last of our conversation and said with a kind of certainty showing in his words that he felt that Obi-Wan is alive.

    I believe him.

A second transmission from Jika arrived. Jika was smiling a little bit. One of the Clones had taken a holopic from the At-At and he had discovered that in his search in the archives.

Pestering Nu he called it and I am sure he did.

Jocasta always states that the archives are complete and she is very helpful when you want something that should be there. And that holopic was.

Jika showed me the picture of the burned At-At and I could imagine what a hell that must have been.

Alwin saw the picture and said that Obi-Wan must have been thrown clear. ?Backdrafts do that with you when you are on the outside. Inside you have no chance at all? he stated.

Now I am certain Obi-Wan is alive.

    VaderLVR64 Yet another wonderful update!

All thanks for reading and the next entry is how Magin Bhik reacts to Rattatak.

    Entry 24

Obi-Wan is back in the Jeditemple and recovering from his ordeal on Rattatak. He was imprisoned there by Asajj Ventress and I heard the story from Jika Bale.

She used a Sith torture mask on him.
    How could she!

I have seen such a horror once when Jika showed me a holo that an archivist party to Korriban had unearthed. That was shortly after the bloccade of Naboo.

Jerec was the leader and he had sent the holo to Jika and the archives of course.

A Jedi, captured by the Sith, was subjected to that torture device and he couldn?t use the Force for good deeds.
Each thought was turned into a dark one and I saw the victim smiling with anguished glee when his apprentice was killed after a gruesome torture in front of him.

Horrible and when they removed the mask the Jedimaster was seen with insane looks and grabbing the nearest sharp piece of metal and impaling himself.

    Has Dooku seen that holo?
I am sure and he must have passed that knowledge to Asajj Ventress.

    And Obi-Wan survived that! Whew.
No wonder Yoda has called him ?being of pure light.?
The Jedimaster is true to the light side of the Force and if that Sithmask couldn?t beat him no one can.

Yes Obi-Wan recovered thanks to Siri and his friends.

VaderLVR64 Wonderful update, but so sad.
War is horrible and the diarist will tell more.

AzureAngel2 Well, sith are sinister creatures with NO mercy... unless somebody helps them to find the way back to the light.

Obi will do that with Asajj and Anakin but that's the future.

Thanks all for reading and supporting this diary. The next entry will be one about Siri.

    Entry 25

A few months have past since I saw this diary and I was devastated when I heard of the battle of Azure and who has lost her life.

Siri, Jedi Knight Siri Tachi, the great love and friend of Obi-Wan Kenobi was killed.

Siri, I remember her when I met her for the first time. She was a Jedi Knight and had a Padawan Ferus Olin.
I was with Obi-Wan in the healers? ward after that disaster on Lingala and she helped us recover.

Yeah she was funny, teasing Obi-Wan with those presents.
But underneath that bickering and bantering I could see the great love they had for each other.

Jika Bale contacted me and told me more about Siri and Obi-Wan.

Never knew that she had been undercover for years as a pirate. She was not trained in the intelligence work like the Jedi that are selected for that department. Jika said that the council had decided to send Siri undercover because she had been working on the smuggling activities on the Kessel Run with her master Adi Gallia.

She had to infiltrate in Krayn?s business and Jika told me that she had waited a long time after her return to the Jedi to file a report about what she had to endure.

    Horrible.
No one in the intelligence department did have to do what she had to do. Taking slaves and sending them to work in the spice factory on Nar Shadda, work that could turn a healthy man in a wreck and kill him within a year. She saved children by letting a kind slaver buy them.

I have read those reports and the man was actually buying them free, helping them. But Siri, she was discovered and abused and had to go against what the Jedi had taught her.

Obi-Wan helped her recover from that ordeal.

Just like Siri helped him after his long imprisonment on Rattatak and the horrors of that Sith mask.

Grr I still shiver when I see that holo playing in my mind.

I am glad that Jika told me how Obi-Wan coped with his loss. He was found wandering the Jeditemple for many nights until one night. Master Aaqu saw him and he was smiling again.

He told the kind healer that he was no more afraid of his memories. He could live with them, live with his memories of his great love and with an open heart.

I too remember Siri with great joy. I treasure my memories of a great Jedi Knight and friend.

Siri, where ever you are I will see you when I become one with the Force.

    Entry 26

Obi-Wan Kenobi! What have you done this time!
Saved Asajj and neglected your own health.

You were no match for her when you met her at Boz Pity. All those missions and you were wounded more than once I have heard. A simple mission turned into a disaster and only recently you lost Siri.

But you could help Asajj Ventress turn back to the light.
You could forgive her for what she had done to you on Rattatak.
You saw her as a misguided child and yes Anakin could have become like her if he had been found by the Sith first.

    ----

I have read Obi-Wan?s story about Asajj and her upbringing on that war-torn planet. Of Ky Narec taking her as his padawan when her parents were killed and she turned to the dark side when the Jedi abandoned him.
The beginning part of Obi-Wan?s story was very moving and I recite it word for word.

?Where once was light, now darkness falls.
Ky Narec the master is dead.
    Asajj was again an orphan.
Where once was love, love is no more.?

    And it ended with:
?Where once was darkness, now light emerges?
Asajj has become a luminous being
    She has joined the Force
Where once was hate, love has come to bloom?

Yes she deserved a funeral ceremony for a Jedi.

Alwin and the others of the agristation have read this story too and we all can forgive Asajj Ventress for what she has done.

I have read Jika Bale?s report about the Sith poisons used on Asajj to enhance her dark side powers. Poor girl with tubes surgically grafted to her body supplying her with those drugs.

Now Jika has sent his spies to search for Jenna Zan Arbor the designer of those poisons.

And I am ending this entry with a positive note.

Alwin has graduated in his classes for advanced fire fighting and he has mastered more Jedi skills. The boy has large healing powers and he demonstrated this a few weeks ago by saving a Nerf that was giving birth and having difficulty. He helped her in a trance and we could save the young and the mother.
