Hi! I thought I'd make this thread because I didn't see it anywhere, so, basically you just post star wars related surprising facts. The way it is also a game is because you post a surprising fact, and the next poster will first say whether or not they knew it before, and then post their own, and so on. The point of the game is pretty much to post facts that are rarely known.



I'll start:

One time when filming ROTS, George came in late for work because his son, Jett, was riding a scooter and waved back at someone who waved to him, causing him to fall when he went over a speed bump.

Yes.

Did you know that Riyo Chuchi was designed based on ROTS concept art of Padme?

 

I don't even know who Riyo Chuchi is, so no.

Did you know that some scenes of the OT were filmed in George's house?

 

Yes, One of the Dagobah scenes was filmed in his sw3imming pool, while it was under construction.

Did you know that when filming the Throne room scene at the end of ANH, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford kept arguing about how fast they should be walking.

 

No.

Did you know that the person responsible for laminating the studio visitor passes for ROTJ messed up the batch and, instead of sending them to Pinewood studios, sent dozens of laminated cards with Roger Moore's stunt man's face from the film Octopussy to Elstree?

 

Nope, had absolutely no idea. that's actually hilarious.

Did you know that at a sort of "hair test" for the Phantom Menace, George Lucas's daughter wanted to take home some of Ewan McGregor's hair? (he had just gotten a haircut) (and yes, he did let her)

Nope, Idk who Mission Vao is in thr first place.

Did you know that before he had to travel for AOTC filming, Hayden Christensen had never been away from North America?

Did you know that the guy sitting beside Luke in the briefing room in Episode IV is Wedge? I just found that out now.

Did you know that Wedge is played by three different actors in ANH?

 

Saw an episode of the original Lost in Space series on the Horror Channel today. Did you know that the Johnny Williams who composed the theme tune is the same John Williams of Star Wars fame?

Did you know that to train for ROTS Hayden Christiansen had to eat six meals a day?

 

No definitely not.

Lets see did you know that Jabba the Hutt in the OT originally didn't have a CG tail so when Harrison Ford walked around him and he yelps out in pain it's just lazy CG? =-P

Yes I did know that it's so like him ton not notive though.

Did you know that once when filming ESB, Harrison Ford started going crazy and started cutting the millennium falcon with a saw? (Honestly some of the weirdest thing happened bts of ESB )

 

I did not know that.

But I shouldn't be surprised, considering that he broke his leg on the set of TFA. Did you know about that?

Did you know that Carrie Fisher went to acting school in England?

 

Yes.

Did you know the original voice actress for Princess Kneesaa (Cree Summer) also voiced Penny from Inspector Gadget, Elmyra from Tiny Toons, and Cleo from Clifford?

 

Did you know that Count Dooku is distantly related to General Robert E. Lee, meaning he is also related to George Washington?
