i thought so he was great as annie

 

He scared the living bejeezes out of me.

 

Hell yeah. My daughter looks like a female Jake Lloyd. Cute as a button and powerful in the Force.

 

I just watched TPM for the millionth time, and I still think he was good for the role. However, I cringed whenever he spoke Huttese (is it Huttese?).

 

I'm only 'looking' at his performance, and I sure don't like what I see.

His mom must have drilled him endlessly on his lines, and probably imposed those ultra-amatuerish inflections upon his delivery.

Darn soccer moms.

Jake's physical appearance? Hmm, I don't think of other males in those terms. But if you want an informed opinion about the male-male Physical Appreciation element, an expert will be posting in this thread in about 5 minutes.

I'll wink when he gets here.

 

I think he is good... Not excellent, but a lot better than people say he is!

He's awful actor to play the role of young Anakin. I think that kid from the Sixth sence would be a better choice for TPM.

He really is an adorable little kid.

Especially when he says "I miss her" to the Council or "pleased to meet you" to Obi-Wan.

You have to want a kid like that !!!!

Yes, I thought he was cute, and I liked how he acted like a kid. I especially liked how, when Shmi kisses and hugs him, he screws up his face and goes, "Awwww!", just like all 9-year-old boys do when their moms kiss and hug them in public.

 

I think he acts to... i dont know just I dont like him in TPM much

 

Overall I thought he was cute, but there were a couple of times in TPM where I felt like he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be doing. Then again, sometimes he portrayed his role perfectly; like the scene in Watto's shop when he was talking to Natalie/Padme about the "angels"...he was adorable in that scene, IMO.

 

I thought he interacted quite well with Natalie, which isn't anything to sneeze at, considering he was at the age where boys think girls are yucky.

 

Cute? In some scenes....yeah I guess, IMO. When he's with his mom. But I never imagined that he and his friends would remind me of the Peanuts gang.

I thought he did a great job, I mean how else is a ten year kid supposed to act. Remember, the whole point of Anakin being 10 was to show how at the beginning he was a cute and innocent boy before he began his journey towards the Dark Side of the Force.

P.S. If he's not 10 I'm sorry, don't feel like looking up his exact age in TPM.
