Disney exclusive lightsabers...future??

As part of Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm, they began producing a new model line of lightsaber toys as The Force Awakens was released. They go for around $30 each.

They have done 4 lightsabers in this line:

My question is about if anyone knows anything about potential future lightsabers in this line because I really think these are great collectibles. They are quite authentic, have realistic duel sounds and reactions, and are very affordable compared to other models.

I wish they would produce all characters' lightsabers in this model line...Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and Luke's green one.

I'm not sure why they only chose to do Darth Vader and Yoda in addition to Kylo Ren and Rey (the new characters). I would hope they'd do Luke's green one around the time of Episode VIII release, if he sports his green one in the movie.

Any word on this?

 

They have done Luke's green Lightsaber, but it's from a year or two earlier so it's in different packaging, but same line.

And yeah, I'd love for them to do more of these. I have Kylo's and the Skywalker lightsaber, and they're awesome. Their hilts aren't thick like the Force FX ones, great sounds and lighting... Really want, as you said, Qui-Gon's, Obi-Wan's, Dooku's,... A double bladed Maul saber would be epic, they can even charge $60 for it since its two lightsabers in one. I'd buy it. Also, Kanan's Lightsaber would be epic. Haven't heard anything on this line, though, if you can even call it a line.

 

I'm surprised they had Yoda's lightsaber, but not Luke's ROTJ one as this is specifically promoted for TFA.

The fan in my cringes internally over this, as Rey's lightsaber is ROTS Anakin's hilt model, and Darth Vader's is Vader's gifted lightsaber in ROTS instead of ANH, ESB or ROTJ models. I have seen them in person and they are pretty durable, however, the blade is far shorter than a Force FX/ MR model. I understand it's because of a child's stance it would make sense, but they all seem to be about Yoda length.

 

I don't see a problem with the length. Even the Hasbro ones are fine. I'm 5'9" and I think they fit pretty well.
