Do you have any habits?

I used to be in the habit of biting my nails, but I've trained myself to stop that.

I've recently picked up flossing, which I'm very proud of. Not enough people floss. You know what they say--only floss the ones you want to keep. I want to keep all of mine. Sometimes I have horrible nightmares about losing my teeth. I hear that's a fairly common dream. Isn't that weird how people have the same kinds of dreams? What do you think that means?

Anyway, what do you do?

I wash my beard every morning with the finest mineral water imported from Europe.

That's funny, because I eat them.

I brush my teeth for obscene amounts of time, and pick at my nails when I'm bored. Really impresses my boss at staff meetings, I'm sure.

Also, I habitually scare men away from me.

I am obsessed with flossing. I have a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth so I use a special threader floss for those, and regular waxed floss for the others. Before I floss I use a pre-brush rinse (which supposedly is whitening too but I think that might be a load of bollocks since the peroxide wasn't kept refrigerated...) and after I brush I use regular mouthwash.

Yes, my dentist loves me.


Other habits: twirling my hair, chewing on my cuticles, drinking too much caffeine all the time, drinking too much beer all the time.

 

I've had a statistical 15 a day habit since the 18th July 2003.

 

Habits are less interesting than vices.

Amazing.

 

Vices: Drinking too much caffeine all the time, drinking too much beer all the time.

 

I always put some sweetener (I prefer Splendia, but will use whatever is available where I'm at) in my ice tea. I can't drink ice tea without it.

Since the picture of the nun's habit was posted, it reminds me of that episode of Top Gear where the nun drives a monster truck over a row of cars.

I have a habit of watching Top Gear almost every day.

 

I absentmindedly fiddle with my nose ring. I'm sure it bugs the crud out of and grosses out people often.

 

I bite my nails [not nearly as much as I used to] & when I'm stressed/anxious, I pick at my eyebrows [yay trichotillomania].

 

yeah, this is hella fun. very addicting.
