But he needs a name anyways, and I can think of no other besides Corpsey. It's perfect.

 

I always have a chuckle, at that point. I thought that other Ewok was chuckling too. Cause that's what Ewoks sound like when they laugh, dont they?

Hasbro should come out with a set of Weeble Wobble Ewoks. 8 of them. Each one would look like a different Ewok. But only one of them would be able to fall down and stay down.

Maybe instead of a non-action figure they can just come out with a Corpsey paper weight.

 

Had Corpsey not died I think he would've become the King of the Ewoks -- he looked smarter than your average Ewok. He was an amazing furball, we shall miss him.

Does anyone know if Corpsey made it into the credits? under an AKA, of course. I would pop in the movie myself, but it's 4:30am and I have classes tomorrow.

I think we should get to see Corspey as a young ewok in EpIII, so that his sacrifice later is all the more meaningful. And just him, no other ewoks. I like 'em, but too many others don't.

 

But Ewoks live in groups.

 

How can you people like that scene? It is by far the saddest moment of the trilogy and I'm serious about that.

 

You know, I think I saw Corpsey in "The Ewok Adventure". There was a cut scene where Corpsey came back ala Ob-Wan to Wicket and well....here is an excerpt of the script:

Corpsey: Wicket you must go to Dagobah, there you will find Crusty, the Ewok who helped me and taught me this really neat trick of coming back from the dead.

Wicket: Really? Yub-Yub! I'm on my way!

Wicket finds a freighter to take him to Dagobah and as he enters the jungle, he finds a note taped to a tree. The letter is written by Corpsey.

Wicket is now stuck on Dagobah and can never make another Ewok adventure movie again.

 

Aha. So now we have a lone Ewok. The PT idea would work afterall, except...there's only Wicket. No Corpsey.

 

I read in an article somewhere that we are introduced to a young padawan Corpsey in Ep. III, showing us that Corpsey was indeed a Jedi (sorry to those avoiding spoilers). And, in the Ultimate edition of the OT, Corpsey will appear with Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin during the end celebration.

You're comparing a Star Wars icon to a guy who sang for a band that sings about rape, murder, murdering rape, rapists murder, mutilation, raping mutliation, and murdering raping mutlitation?

I think an investigation needs to be undertaken (giggle) to find out whom the actor was that played good old Corpsey. The Star Wars Insider could have a whole Corpsey issue!
