Do you like the title "Revenge of the Sith"?

I liked the title ROTS it was a good opposite title of ROTJ.

It does what it's supposed to do, and it is straightforward and direct, like much of the movie itself.

Perfect title and was foreshadowed:

"At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have REVENGE."

 

Totally appropriate.

great title and much better then ones like the creeping fear and circle of fear. great movie title and better then attack of the clones.

I love it. It has so many meanings its crzy. I mean its so appropriate. Look at these reasons why it was neccessary besides the title being so cool.

5. Contrast to Return of the Jedi.
4. Anakins fall means rise of the sith.
3. Sith have revealed themselves before but the mastermind the Sith LORD is revealed to the jedi finally.
2. "Return of the Jedi's" first title was Revenge of hte Jedi. GL didnt like that was to aggresive for the nature of the Jedi. So it was Return of the jedi instead. and im assuming GL remembered that and put Revenge for the third installment of SW.
1. And the number one reason its so fitting is......1000 years before the rise of the Empire, the jedi thought the Sith were gone. That the sith were extinct. The jedi made the mistake and thus war broke out and shrouded them with the darkside keeping them from the truth. Finally the Sith apprentices and the Sith Master revealed themselves and destroyed the jedi knighthood.

Besides that there are other reasons but the title is just too fitting and if it was named "The Creeping Fear" that would have diffinitely turned me off to the movie. And many non star wars fans would have never went to see it....and the star wars fans would have just went to complete the saga.

 

Not only do I like it, I predicted that this would be the title of the film years ago. Seriously.

 

I've loved the title from the beginning even if it was very predictable in the spoiler run.

ROTS is an awesome title.

 

yeah attack of the clones could of been a bit different then tht like somthing more along the lines of the creeping shadow or creeping fear, because we have the phantom menace then attack of the clone then revenge of the sith. there is no continuity there.

Whats wrong with Attack of the Clones? I got all excited when I heard it, it has an Empire Strikes Back quality to it.

When I first heard "Attack of the Clones" I thought, well, okay, we'll see the stormtroppers turn and attack. Well, that didn't exactly happen. At least, not the way I had imagined.
Possible titles I like:

Episode I.....Shroud of Darkness
Episode I.....Dawn of Prophecy
Episode II....Rise of the Clones
Episode III...Dawn of the Empire (although I really like ROTS)
Episode III...Rise of the Empire
