For the most part, yes. Parts could be better, but as a whole it could be much, much worse.

Yes, absolutely love it! Even though I spent the majority of my life (so far) in Texas, it seems like another lifetime. I can't imagine being anywhere else.

 

Love it, much warmer than the UK, much more space, much less people, plus I can afford a detached house here with a little land, something we definitely could not back "home"

 

I like Hampton Roads (where I'm stationed) quite a good bit, even though the base I'm on is horribly-run garbage. I also like my hometown in northeast Louisiana a good bit as well. Lots of wide-open countryside to do whatever I want in.

I spend most of my time in California. Certain times of the year you can snow
ski, drive a few hours, then go diving in the kelp forests, hiking in the
redwood forests or go surfing. People say it's expensive, but so is London,
Singapore, etc

Yes. It's nice and quiet where I live. But I'm also only 20 minutes from New York City, which is fun.
