    I always thought Episode VI - Return of the Jedi wrapped up things pretty neatly and thus didn't need a sequel that took place after it. To me, the ending to Return of the Jedi was one of the most satisfying endings ever in movie history. The prequel trilogy (despite its flaws) actually makes the ending to Return of the Jedi even more powerful than it already was for a lot of reasons.

    I voted yes. To me, the novels that came after ROTJ continued the story. But one could look at ROTJ as the end of the cinematic story. I don't think the ST handled the legacy characters, particularly Luke, probably. But I explain that more in depth on my Diogenes thread. To me, the ST is in an alternative universe.

    Yes. In fact, I already regard "Return of the Jedi" as the end of the Skywalker saga.

    If the choice is between stopping at ROTJ or having the current ST, then definitely - DEFINITELY - the former. If the ST were better, then I would be open to it.

    Return of the Jedi is the end of the Skywalker Saga as far as I'm concerned. The Disney trilogy will never be part of it. It is it's own entity.

    It did for 30 odd years. And it will again. I believe people in the future will not recognise this disney trilogy as real Star Wars.
