Does anybody actually LIKE Starsailor?

Oasis are overrated wannabes.

Some stupid journalist hailed them as the new beatles and they tried to live up to that with tuneless songs with indifferent lyrics. The only reason they're so famous is because they DID say some stupid things to the press and fecked up tours and were moody prats...

Blur were a million times better...

 

But the only good Blur song was 'Song 2'. And that was Key-rap compared to some other stuff around.

 

I like Song No 2. It reminds me of Smells Like Teen Spirit.

 

That's what somebody else said. But I think they sound totally different. Teen Spirit is much better though.

 

Its a similar type of music though...I prefer that to durges...

Coldplay, Radiohead, Verve...they are like funeral music, dirges/durges however you spell it.

 

That's why I hate depressive English music. It's all the same.

Luci ... you have no taste whatsoever mate ... Blur were amazing . And Song 2 is the britpop anthem . As to english music being crap ... what else should I expect from someone force fed the american culture with thier ( lemme guess ) nu metal rock . Limp Bizkit ? papa Roach ? NIN are close to selling out , tho Reznor always was a bloody eejit . Tracks like Supergrass ' Richard III' , Rialto '3.19' , Radiohead 'Streetspirit' ... for crying out loud , go buy one of the Shine compilations ... try shine 97 ... its pretty cool .

I'm a metal enhusiast. I don't usually like much unless it has double bass drums- (ie not much nu metal)

but quite frankly I'd rather listen to Papa Roach, Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit than Starsailor, The verve or Even Radiohead and (gasp) Muse. Total pants the lot of it. Mat Bellamy has the most annoying voice in music today. Fact.

I like Slipknot. Both Albums are good. Speultura were better when Max fronted them. As such I'm a fan of soulfly. I also like (shock horror) AFI. And I'm a big fan of Metallica and Machine Head.

 

Hope thats directed at AFI , becaue if its at me , you die . Slipknot *shudders* mask wearing freaks .. i'm sorry , but a gimic that the kids find cool doesn't make you a good band . Sepultura gain a tad more respect , but I've always been a tad so so one thier stuff . If you want real hard rock try Maiden and DC

 

the masks have bugger all to do with slipknot's success. They just happen to be bloody good.
